Pet care experience
I’ve been taking care of all types of animals, big, small, old, and young, since I was a young child. My first dog was diagnosed with Addison’s Disease when she was three years old, but lived until she was fifteen under my care. I have experience in bottle-feeding teeny tiny baby dogs, cats, and raccoons! I also raised my extremely anxious type 1 diabetic rescue puppy into a happy and healthy adult :) I am extremely comfortable in giving all types of pets medications, including shots. I have pet-sat for a bunch of people in the Corvallis area, and I always prioritize communication with pet parents. Whether it be clarification on care instructions or schedules, giving descriptive updates, or just sending the parents cute pictures/ videos of their fluffy children, you will never not hear from me! I consider my pets to be my children. They are the most important aspect of my life. While your pet is in my care, I will treat them as one of my own.

Zoey would be a fantastic dog sitter due to the fact that she has such a tremendous heart that loves all things that move. She’s in love with all animals and gives all her attention and care to them when they are around. You would not regret having her as a dog sitter.

I personally have two free-roam rabbits and one (recently adopted) senior cat. Because we’re going slow in introducing him to my bunnies, I’m not entirely sure how he reacts to other pets. He does prefer the comfort and safety of my bedroom, so I’m not concerned about interactions with other pets. My bunnies have their own room as well, and get supervised free-roam time in the living room everyday. All of my pets are spayed/neutered and up to date on their vaccines. In my home, the health, safety, and happiness of my pets comes before all else. When it comes to watching other people’s pets, I definitely prefer to do so in their homes versus my own, just because the pet tends to feel more comfortable in their own environment.

I strongly prefer that pet parents give me as many details about their pets health needs, behavioral tendencies, dietary needs/restrictions, and any other relevant information as possible. My priority will always be the health, safety, and wellbeing of all pets in my care, and I believe that the more information you can give me, the more positive this experience will be for you, your pet, and myself. :)
A typical day
I love to take dogs on walks to explore and smell all the smells! I also strongly enjoy a good play-sesh, whether it be in the living room, backyard, or park. My personal favorite is tug-of-war, but fetch is always a good one too. I’m extremely used to needy and cuddle-bug type pets (such as my own), so I am also always happy to sit on the couch and give belly rubs for as long as a fluffy friend may want. What ever their preferences are, I can always make it work!

Availability
I have a hybrid work schedule, so I only work in-person Mondays and Tuesdays. During the rest of the week I work from home, which gives me a lot of free time. My pets are my first priority when I wake up in the morning, and my last responsibility before I go to bed.
