We’ve have had pets since we were three (Zoey) and seven (Madison) years old. It started with two beta fish, two tabby cats, and then two years later we added a chocolate lab to the mix. Taking care of them was like taking care of family, whether it be walking them, playing with them, or even scooping their poop. Zoey: I didn't truly begin caring for other people's pets until four years ago when I started to petsit my friend's geckos, guinea pigs, hamsters and hedgehog. I feel very lucky to have been able to take care of such a wide variety of animals. Unfortunately I cannot care for pets in my own home as I still live with my parents, but whatever safety measures you need followed for your pets in your own home I will absolutely adhere to. I can take care of cats, dogs, reptiles, and other small animals (guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, etc). Madison: I started caring for pets occasionally with my sister a couple years ago. We’d have animals staying at our house so I learned quickly how to help out. I’ve been a HUGE cat person since our family adopted 2 kitties when I was 8 and plan to have cats for the rest of my life.
