Pet care experience
I grew up with multiple dogs and became their primary caregiver from a young age. In my early adulthood, I rescued a senior cat from a shelter so I have many years of experience taking care of both dogs and cats. I love walking, feeding, playing with and loving on all pets (big, small, shy, hyper, young, old, etc.) and have many years of experience taking care of my own pets as well as friends/family members/neighbors pets (as if they were my own!).

I rescued my own pet as a senior who had been through quite a lot before I was lucky enough to add her to my family - she was very shy and slow to warm up at first so I am used to taking it at the pets pace and giving them the care that makes them feel most comfortable and loved! My pets growing up, on the other hand, were balls of energy and extremely hyper - and I had no problem keeping up with them! :) I’ve had experience with all different types of temperament and have loved every single one equally (and in their own special way). I know what a huge part of your family your pets are and so keeping them, as well as their parents, happy, comfortable, and confident in my care is my upmost priority!

Let me know if your dogs have any special needs or behaviors to support! I’ve administered medication for many pets in the past and have also had experience with a wide variety of temperaments/behaviors (shy, anxious, hyper, stressed, etc.)
A typical day
I know your dogs will be missing their parents greatly so I love filling our time together with lots of comfort, love, and fun. I’ve worked with many different temperaments so really take it at the dogs pace :) I have no problem taking the time to make a nervous/shy dog more comfortable or keeping up with a hyper and high-energy pup! Your pets are family and I’ll love them like my own.

Availability
I’m currently working on an 8:30AM-4:30PM schedule Monday through Friday - I’m an early riser so will have no problem getting a few hours of company and care in before work, during my lunch hour, and of course, all evening and weekend!
