Nurturing, Loving Hands and Home

Pet care experience

I have cared for dogs and various pets in homes and farms since I was 10. I have been raised with multiple pets and still have a dog of my own. I love all dogs and have experienced dogs of many needs, temperaments, ages, and breeds. For 13 years I have regularly volunteered with the humane society, caring for and walking dogs. I also have brief experience doing basic training for dogs and preparing rescues to be ready for a home. I have 5 years of experience house/farm/pet sitting for families and am highly trusted by neighbors, family, and friends to care for their pets. I adore all animals I have met and am grateful for all the opportunities to connect with animals and show them love. I am happy to answer any further questions about myself and my experience!

We cannot say enough good things about Zoe! She is extremely professional and knowledgeable about dogs and puppies and we felt very at ease leaving our 9 week old puppy with her. Not only did she take great care of her and kept us updated each day with a lot of information and pictures-she also worked with our puppy on training as well! We are so relieved we have found a trusted caretaker for our puppy and we will definitely be using her again in the future. We highly recommend!

Zoe was fantastic! We hired her for multiple walks and every time she was very caring with Sandy. Zoe was careful with walking in the heat and making sure she filled up Sandy’s water bowl and putting on Sandy’s shoes.

Zoe was fab! Came to meet my weirdos beforehand and they were instantly won over. We recently moved and the animals still aren't fully settled and I was worried about leaving them, but Zoe clearly kept them at ease. I got plenty of pics throughout the weekend and house was possibly cleaner than when I left it.

Zoe was a great sitter and we will definitely be using her again! We have one anxious puppy and she knew exactly how to work with her and gain her trust. She treated both of our pups great. She was very communicative and respectful to our home. Thank you Zoe!

I have a fenced in yard, it does have a pool though I am happy to observe and ensure there is no accidents. There are 2 stories and your pet will have plenty of space for themselves or to stay around us for company. If our dogs do not get along; I can separate based on the floors and ensure different potty breaks and walks. Within your home, I respect all home rules and will be mindful of your privacy. My focus will only be on your pet and their well being.

Information Zoe W. would like to know about your pet

Let me know if your dog has medication needs, special care needs, or has any anxieties! I want to ensure I offer your pet the best quality of care and support them feeling safe and comfortable with me.

A typical day

I love taking the dogs to a greenway rather than just being in the neighborhood to walk; though if car rides aren't comfortable we will stay local! I love to play tug or fetch or offer stimulation through learning tricks or practicing commands. Cuddling is of course a bonus, but I let the dogs take the lead on what contact they are comfortable with- as I know many rescues or more reserved dogs needs their time and space to warm up.

Availability

I am very type A! I have a planner that already has my expected availability through August. When I receive requests, I consider the entire equation of your pets needs, the commute time between commitments, and the time to be with your pet. I work part time as a nanny, on a consistent schedule with two families I adore in the Meyers Park and Noda Area. I also have 3 consistent dog walking clients which I am very grateful for, one requires 5 days a week for 30 minutes, another 4 days a week for an hour, and another 2 days a week for an hour. Families and pets that are nearby my other obligations (Meyers Park and NODA area) will always get priority as they are most time-savvy to work with. For house/pet sitting durations, I do ensure that I am within a 20 minute radius of other obligations to ensure my availability for your pet! My rates on rover do reflect the percentage rover takes to continue to operate the platform.
