Pet care experience
Hello! I have been a pet owner for about 11 years and have been watching pets for friends and family for about 6 years. I have experience with dogs of all ages (9 weeks - 15 years), sizes (20lb - 100lb), breeds (pits to retrievers to shitzus), and needs (experience with elderly dogs, dogs who need medication, and have a soft spot for tripods), and am comfortable caring for cats of all temperaments. I love animals and always enjoy the time I get to spend making sure they are well cared for and happy when their people are not available! I am comfortable with overnight stays, drop-ins, and walks alike, and am always willing to talk through any clients additional needs while there (watering plants, taking in mail, etc.). Currently I have two golden retrievers, Archie (born 7/2019) and Denver (born 8/2020).

Safety is always a top priority in my mind, as I would expect of someone watching my own pups. For drop-ins, walks, and house sitting, I will care for your animals in the spaces they are most comfortable in. For boarding, and depending on your comfort level, we have a large (unfenced) backyard in a safe-for-dogs area and two golden retrievers who love sharing their happy place with friends. My goal is to always provide a safe environment that allows for exercise and play.

In order to provide the best care possible for your animal, I will need to know about any health issues, special needs, or behaviors that impact how I should interact with them (don't pet in this way, etc.). I will also want to know your animals typical schedule, including their eating and potty habits as well as their favorite activities.
A typical day
I like to take the dogs on walks where they are comfortable - starting out on a familiar route, and maybe adventuring to a park once they are comfortable with me! My favorite activity to do with dogs who are willing/able is hiking on trails in the area.
