Loving Care & Veterinary Experience

Pet care experience

Feel free to check out my pet care Instagram! @pawfect_petcare This is where I post adorable photos of my pet care adventures and you will be able to see all of my amazing, regular pet care pups (and other critters) who do frequent stays with me! My name is Zoe and I am a WSU graduate, with a bachelors degree in animal sciences. I have several years of experience working in veterinary clinics, dog daycares and (currently) the humane society. I live in a small duplex located in Pullman, which has a small, fenced-in backyard for your pup to play in! My pet care pups are treated like my own, meaning that they get lots of walks, playtime, treats, pets and love. This also includes frequent potty breaks, as I have a very small pup of my own and do not like to have her waiting too long to go potty. I have one hour long lunch breaks that I can use to stop by to let any pups out for potty breaks, as well as having all evenings and 4 days off each week for lots of walks and play time! I have professional experience with dogs of various breeds, ages, sizes, temperaments and medication needs. I do have my own pup, Mitsy, who is a very friendly, 6 year old, 8 pound chiweenie who has been my family member for 5 years now since adopting her. She has lots of different toys in her toy pile that she has never minded sharing and loves to play and cuddle with our pet care pup friends! Her sister Charlie is a quiet and calm 9 pound kitty who has been in our family for 6 years since her adoption, and her other cat sister Paisley who has been with us for almost 1 year now. So we do ask that your pup is cat-friendly if he or she is staying at our home! I do have quite a few regular pet care pups who book for the holidays, so if you do have holiday dates in mind please try to book ahead so that I can accommodate you! Aside from that, I do live in Pullman year-round and will be here for all of the major holidays and weekends. I look forward to hearing from you and your furry family member in order to book for your pet care needs!

Zoe was great with taking care of my cat. I was a little nervous leaving him alone as he is old and requires daily medication, but Zoe did a great job keeping up with his needs. I really appreciated her help and would book again.

This is the second year in a row we used Zoe for a week of dog-sitting, and we love her! The first year, she worked through last-minute changes to our travel plans as well as an injured pup who needed medication and extra care. This year was more straightforward, but Zoe was every bit as wonderful in dealing with our often-challenging little dog. We have peace of mind while Zoe is watching our dog, and we highly recommend her!

We asked Zoe S. to take on a five week pet care job in our home. She had to come in everyday to feed and water our pets as well as clean up after them. Zoe was very responsible and carried out her jobs in a professional manner. We would recommend her for other jobs and will not hesitate to hire her again if the occasion should arise. As a person Zoe is a very nice person and always came on time for appointments to interview her and to get instruction handouts.

I have a small fenced yard that the pups use as a potty area, with full supervision by me at all times. I can definitely accommodate a kennel if your pup is typically crated at home, but this Isn’t something that I require. My own dog gets to free roam when I am not home and is allowed on my furniture, so if this is okay for you with your pup, then it’s definitely fine by me! My dog is a part of my family and is very important to me, so I completely understand treating pets as if they are part of the family!

I do not have any breed preferences! I work with all different breeds, sizes, special needs and ages of dogs and I enjoy taking care of them all. If you would like me to watch your dog in my home, your dog does need to be good with little ones and cats as I do have a friendly chiweenie and cats!

A typical day

My dog Mitsy has lots of toys to share with any other pup that stays in my home! I also like to take Mitsy to the dog park frequently and can take any pup staying with us, as long as this is okayed by the owner! We also go frequent leash walks, as well as playing in our fenced back yard.

I work 4 days out of the week at the humane society, with the other 3 off! I will able to take your pup on outings and long walks during my days off, as well as walks and play time in the evenings after work. I have a long one hour lunch break during my work days, that allows me to stop by to let the pups out into the yard for a potty break!
