Anxiety & Depression Experience
Pet care experience
* ANXIETY & DEPRESSION EXPERIENCE * Dogs can be handfuls, I’m the first to tell ya! I’ve cared for dogs ranging from Yorkies to Great Danes and everywhere in between! While my abilities are not limited, I specialize in dogs struggling with anxiety and depression. I have myself a Border Collie mix named Cooper. We found Cooper on the side of 249 in the middle of a storm trembling in fear. Even since then, he’s been afraid of everything from construction and thunderstorm to cleaning dishes and family gatherings. I’ve made it my mission to create a safe, secure, and happy environment where he can release energy without forcing him into uncomfortable situations. He takes his daily meds with ease and has a sister named Kiwi that balances him out. I also have experience with the crazy ones! Kiwi is a mix of lab and is the exact opposite of Cooper! Lots of energy, likes to explore new things and eat as much food as possible! She runs Cooper up the wall with her need to play. She was also a rescue struggling with mange and malnutrition at just 6 weeks. We were able to nursed her back to health with responsible care and respect for her need of space, time and love. I also have experience with aggressive dogs. I have owned a dog in the past named Bruce who constantly tried to attack strangers. He was successful once. He too struggled with anxiety and territorial fear. From him, I was able to learn the social cues and environmental knowledge one needs in order to properly care for aggressive behavior. Unfortunately, for the safety of myself and your pup, I do not accept walks or drop ins with aggressive pups. However, with the important knowledge and experience, I believe I can and will create a safe loving environment for any type of doggie!
Reviews
Zoe is amazing! Zoe has provided me with the relief and comfort of knowing my high energy pit bull gets a mid-day walk while I am at work. She is reliable and truly cares about the welfare of the dog. I highly recommend to anyone needing help looking after their animal.
Wonderful and very easy to work with.
Zoe is wonderful! She was so good with our animals, respectful of our home, and made us feel at peace to be away and leave our fur babes in her care. Zoe went above and beyond for us and we highly recommend using her if you need someone loving and reliable to look after your four legged kids. We will be a regular with Zoe in the future, she's truly the best.
Amazing sitter and always kind and helpful! She does a wonderful job and our pup always seems so happy!

As I am new to Rover, I am not new to dogs. I understand the need of responsible and kind caretaking. During walks/drop-ins I will have a GoPro with full recording of each visit from the moment I walk in, during the walk/drop-in visit, to the moment I walk out. This is for safety reasons as well as to ease the owner knowing their pet is in safe hands. I will also carry some necessities such as 2 extra leashes, 2 extra harnesses, poop bags, treats (if approved by owner), water bowls, and two trackers. The tracker will be placed on the harness during each walk. This safety precaution is for if any reason the pup were to get loose! I do not carry toys simply due to the risk of transmitted illnesses but I am more than happy to use owner provided toys during the visit/walk! Additional info: I prefer to walk dogs with a harness on, it’s not required though. I have 2 extra harnesses that I totally do not mind using! That is why I pack them! However, if I notice your pup is uncomfortable with me in their face while putting on the harness, I will place on a muzzle only during application. I will not keep it on any longer than 30 seconds. This is not only for the safety of myself, but also your pup. They will not wear it during the visit/walk unless directed by the owner.

Information Zoe S. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your pup needs any sort of medical attention such as a walker, medication, etc. I have contacts for both an ER and a vet clinic saved in case of any emergency but I do require every pup parent to provide contact for their trusted and preferred vet & ER hospital. ER contact I have saved is for VAC Tomball Vet Hospital. The vet contact I have saved is for Northpointe Animal Hospital.
A typical day
I understand the importance of your pups mental health and physical activity. With that in mind, it is important for each and every dog to be given the opportunity to release their energy while respecting their needs and current health state. Whether it’s in your backyard or at the dog park, it is my mission to make sure every pup is accounted for and healthily exhausted at the end of every visit (;
