Hi, I’m Zoe and I hope to be your pup’s new bestie! I’ve been in DC for about 5 years now, I work full time from home and I’m in graduate school (also online from home)— I feel lucky to get to be comfortable in my own apartment for most of the week so I can care for doggies that need a sitter while their parents are away. I grew up with goldens and golden doodles (I love the cute dopey pups) and while they’re far away in my hometown I’m now “dog auntie” here in the city. I love to care for, snuggle, walk, play with, and run around with dogs of all kinds. I make it my priority to be sure they have their needs met and feel at home with me in my home. I’ve cared for several friends’ dogs with personalities from social to very anxious, and I have experience with senior dogs as well. I was recently approved as a dog foster parent by the HRA, but don’t have a dog at this time as I prefer to care for one dog at a time so they get my full attention and effort. There are lots of pups in my apartment building and we are lucky to have a gated dog park right here in our courtyard. I work & attend school remotely so I'm able to tend to pups' needs for playing, bathroom, and snuggles about every 2-3 hours/as needed! I take a short walk during the workday and a longer walk/outside time after work. If your dog boards with me, we’ll go on lots of adventures around the city and have a great time! If I need to go on errands or plan to be away for a brief amount of time, I will let you know and be sure to ask about how your pet is most comfortable and safe in my apartment. There are several dogs in my apartment building, a fenced in dog park right outside my window at my apartment, and two dog parks with a few blocks from me. I'm very caring with pets and want what is best for them! Pups are part of your family, and I’ll be sure to care for them the best I can.
