Pet care experience
I have a number of years of intensive foster animal experience. I have bottle fed orphaned puppies and kittens, administered a wide variety of medications, given subcutaneous fluids, helped in the birth of puppies and kittens, and stayed up with sick animals through the night. In addition, I am a nurse (for humans). I am comfortable with senior animals, special needs, and young ones learning the rules, and I will not be put off by those with difficult or unusual behaviors.

Zoe was fantastic - she visited before our trip to learn what was needed, sent pictures to us of our little one enjoying herself, kept the house clean, and made sure that we came back to washed bedclothes and everything! Couldn't recommend her highly enough - she was a pleasure to have watch our cat and home.
Zoe is excellent with dogs, cats, and pets of all kinds! She has a tremendous amount of experience having helped run an animal rescue, and is qualified to administer medicine, feed pets, walk them, and take care of them in her home or yours. She is very knowledgeable about animal health given her background in pet rescues as well as being a nurse. Zoe is a true animal lover and takes great care of all pets!

Before I work with your pet, I will go through a quick questionnaire with you that will include your pet's activity preferences, daily schedule, allergies and medical issues, temperament towards humans and other animals, among other service-specific questions.
A typical day
I am happy to walk dogs close to the home, venture farther, or go to parks, depending on your and your pet's preference. For more active pups, I would love to run with them or play outdoor games. I am comfortable walking in all weather that is still within a safe temperature for your dog. I also love playing with cats!

Availability
I work full-time as a nurse so my free days are variable and limited; I cannot provide regularly scheduled services and typically cannot do drop-in visits for folks away from home for many days at a time. I stay active on Rover for the occasional opportunity to meet some new cats and dogs and to help fellow pet parents when I can.
