Pet care experience
I grew up around animals and have always loved them like family. I'm extremely passionate about providing you and your furbabies the best experience possible! I'm very attentive to directions given to me about your dog's care, as well as to their needs and behavior. I get along very well with all kinds of dogs and will be a great playmate and an excellent cuddler for them. I am kind, gentle and loving, and so have a knack for bringing even timid babies out of their shells. I'm actually seriously considering going to school to train animals professionally, so I'll take any training assignments very seriously (while still making it a blast for your pet, of course).

Zoe stayed for 2.5 weeks in my house with our dog and cat. She was super communicative and on top of it- she thought of things I didn’t think about such as if my animals got worried or stressed during thunderstorms or fireworks (it was over the 4th). I initially contacted her 2 months before our trip and just days after having a baby. Needless to say I couldn’t keep two thoughts in my head and kept forgetting to check in with Zoe to set up the meet and greet. Thankfully she was super on top of it and kept in touch with me until I finally found time to set up the meeting. She is super down to earth and a very clear communicator. My animals immediately loved her- you can tell she truly loves animals. Lastly, when we came home, the house was spotless and maybe even cleaner than we left it! We will definitely be booking her for future trips!
Zoe was great! Lots of communication and she took great care of our pups. She was even willing to run back to our house to save a package from the rain for me when it came later than expected!

I find caring for pets to be highly specific to the individuals' routines and needs- during the meet and greet, I'll probably ask about what your daily routine looks like and how I can best maintain that stability for your buddy while you're away. I'll want to know about any areas in the home that your pet could escape through or hurt themselves in, as well as any favorite places they like to go that I could try to take them to.

Does your baby have any sort of depression, anxiety, etc? If so, please tell me how you help them feel at ease in case my usual gentle friendliness won't work. Does your dog prefer to cuddle or play? How much exercise do you want your pup to be getting while in my care? Are you currently training your baby, and do you want me to start/continue that training while I'm with them? Do they have any allergies or conditions I need to be aware of? Are they housebroken, and if not, do you want me to try to train them to use the great outdoors? Do they have treats available that I can reward them with for good behavior, and if so is there a limit to how many they should get per day? I usually give just one and then lots of pets and love.

I was recently laid off, so my schedule is currently clear aside from other sittings. When I'm at home I hang out with my roommate's cat, who I help feed and keep an eye on.
