I grew up with dogs, I've had them for 25 years, and I'm always the first to volunteer to pet sit for my friends. I'm employed at MSU, sometimes I can work from home, but other times I need to go in to work. If you are concerned about this just ask me what my work schedule looks like and I’ll let you know! I'm a very active person, so you can ensure your dog will get plenty of activity, whether they like to run, walk, or chuck-it. Big dogs are not a problem, our current family dog is a 60 lb goldendoodle (don't worry, she doesn't live with me, and I miss her dearly). I’ve been sitting for Rover for three years now!
