Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals since I was kid. Dogs, cats, birds, goats, chickens, horses etc. My last dog was a very reactive rescue so I am well versed in dog body language and triggers. In her last year she was diagnosed with bladder cancer so I learned how to give shots and loads of tricks to sneak in meds and food. I have also worked in barns with horses, cows, goats, and chickens. A little dirty work does not phase me! My current pup (and therapy dog), who I’ve had since she was 3.5 months old is a social butterfly who loves to play, but also is very good at reading the room and adjusting her energy level to others. She also stays off all furniture.

Zoe spent 5 days with our Aussie who unexpectedly had a CCL repair 2 weeks prior to the scheduled sitting. She did a fantastic job with him!
Zoe is a wonderful cat sitter! She and her dog Darla spent twelve days at my house while I was out of town. When I came home it was clear that my two kitties thrives under her care, and my younger cat had clearly fallen for Darla. My other cat has medical issues that require medication and injections twice a day. Zoe handled all of that like a champ. Bonus - the house looked terrific when I got back.
Took excellent care of our babies. Sent pictures throughout. Babies seemed comfortable as one cuddled with her. Sweet.

A typical day
I will gladly do any activities that your dog prefers. I am ready and willing to take your dog out on adventures and hikes, dog parks, walks around the neighborhood or finding quiet places if your dog is reactive. I will never pass up a good cuddle either! I believe in meeting where the dog is most comfortable rather than forcing dogs into my life and routine.

I am currently doing part time remote work, going to school part time remotely and volunteering with hospice so I will spend the majority of time in your home with your pet(s).
