Pet care experience
My name is Zoe, I’m a neuroscience graduate from the University of Glasgow. I have such a huge love for animals, particularly dogs and cats. Although I’ve never had a dog, I yearn for one and the highlight of my day is visiting the pets of my friends and family. My partner, who sometimes helps me out with long periods of house sitting as he works from home, has a working cocker spaniel who is two years old, super boisterous and fun and loves playing. His family also have two labradors, one who is 10 years old and the other who is 2. From looking after them, I have experience in walking dogs, bathing, feeding, oral medication administration, and my favourite of all: playing. I would love the opportunity to gain more exposure to new puppies and make new doggy friends. Any way I can help, whether that’s driving them to a grooming appointment, to the vets if you’re unavailable. Through Rover I have built up regular clients with both cats and dogs, indicating my reliability. I’m a well organised person who won’t let you down. Visiting your pet will be the highlight of my day always.

Zoe was patient with me as it was the first time I went on holiday without my dog, Piper. Zoe was happy to meet up 3 times before I went away for Piper to be introduced and comfortable with Zoe. As Zoe stayed in my house, my anxious dog was more content. Can't thank Zoe enough for caring for Piper. Piper was happy and well walked for me coming back. I would absolutely recommend Zoe to look after your fur baby. Now I know my dog was quite happy in my absence, I'll be leaving her with Zoe again.
Thank you so much for looking after Faze and Roo for the week. They looked like they had a lot of fun, and it is a relief being able to leave them with somebody I can trust.
The dogs were shattered when I got back home, they had so much fun and it puts my mind at ease knowing they are in safe hands when I go away. Thank you! 😁🙏

Provided there is enough notice, I offer a meet up service prior to our booking. This gives us a chance to meet, have a chat about your pet’s needs and provides an opportunity for you to ask any questions. This also ensures your pet has a chance to become familiar with me and to ensure I’m the right match for your fur baby! I will never do anything you’re unsure of, i.e., if your dog isn’t fully trained on recall I won’t let them off the lead whilst on walks.

Please let me know if your dog has any behavioural issues, special needs or requirements. For walks it’s useful to know your regular route, whether they are recall trained, and if they are allowed treats during their walk. Every dog is different! It’s also helpful to know how often you currently allow your dog toilet breaks, how much you feed them and when, and if there are any health issues I should be aware of.
A typical day
I love walking around the nature areas such as broadwood loch, mugdock park and further parks such as rouken glen park! If there are specific activities or toys your dogs like in particular please do let me know. I’d love to explore the area around you and get to know your dog’s favourite route so I can show them some more

Availability
My working hours outside of Rover are currently 8am-5pm Monday-Friday, and am happy to consider all requests outwith these hours. I am available full time at the weekends. Any house sitting visits during the week will have to be comfortable being left during the working hours as I am unable to work remotely at this time.
