Pet care experience
Hello. My daughter and I absolutely love animals. Especially dogs. We do not have a dog at present, but we have been very fortunate to have looked after and cared for many animals in recent years. Over the years, I have tended to 'adopt' dogs on my travels, and vice versa! I can only accept dogs that are comfortable with having a child in the house (she is 11 and very caring and sensitive around dogs). I do my utmost to ensure your dogs are comfortable, well-looked after and most of all happy. I recently camped out in the living room - with one beautiful big dog - so he could settle and have a comfortable, anxious-free, first night with us. He's back for two weeks in June :) We live in a clean, comfortable and tidy terraced house, with a lovely garden, and have nearby access to some fabulous dog walks. Ideally I would prefer to meet your dog prior to booking, to ensure the dog is comfortable and adjusted to longer stays, but I understand this may not be possible.
Reviews
Me and my husband couldn’t be happier with Zoe’s care! Her and her daughter treated our little Luna as their own while we were away. It was so nice to know our dog was taken care with so much love while we were far. Zoe kept us updated at all times, sending cute photos and videos of Luna’s adventures. Would definitely recommend them and we will be 100% using them again. Thank you Zoe and Amelie for taking such good care of our little Luna❤️
We used Rover for the first time and found Zoe! She is kind, caring and extremely mindful about our dog's needs. She met Merlot and we could tell straight away that he would be just fine. We received updates about Merlot whilst we were away about his walks and photos for when he played. He came back to us happy, fed and clean. We have rebooked already.
At a visit to Zoe’s home to introduce our dogs, Ted and Eric, they seemed completely ‘at home’ straight away. We then had a weekend away and Zoe looked after them so well, took them on lovely walks, played with them and did everything to make their stay comfortable and fun. Knowing it was the first time we have left them overnight, Zoe sent us gorgeous photos while we were away. and it was wonderful to see them having fun and snuggling up to sleep. We cannot recommend Zoe enough, and are sure Ted and Eric will love to go back soon.
Jasper had a marvellous time with Zoe. He was at home from the start and enjoyed a relaxed and happy few days. He was treated as one of the family and enjoyed walks and cuddles - we highly recommend Zoe and hope Jasper can stay with her again!

I allow dogs on the sofa if they feel more comfortable there. The same (depending on the dog) goes for the bed. Otherwise, next to the bed, or downstairs. First and foremost I follow your lead and the needs of your dog. I wipe down the dogs before they come into the house from a play. I am also very careful about food for the dog, and ensure they follow their correct diet and routine. We try to keep the home as calm and relaxed as possible, so the dogs can enjoy their stay :)

Information Zoe L. would like to know about your pet
It's important for me to know about your dog's routine, their diet, their temperament, and what they need to feel comfortable and happy. I also like to know how sociable they are with other dogs. Please do get in touch if you have any questions.
A typical day
I get up early, so dogs will have early access to the garden for a loo visit. The living room leads directly into the garden, so dogs can go in and out with ease. At lunch time we will go for a walk then back home for some rest and play. There may be several walks a day depending on my schedule and the dog's needs.

Availability
I'm currently working largely from home, and have time each day for dog-walking and play. There will be times when I will need to be out of the house, but I will keep these to a minimum, work around current doggie care commitments, or take your dog with me.
