I currently work as the Communications Coordinator at Community Voices Heard, I'm pursuing my MPA at Baruch, and in my spare time I foster cats for the Brooklyn Cat Cafe and volunteer with the NYC Plover Project! Taking care of animals is one of my all-time favorite things. A little bit about my experience: I grew up with a Golden Retriever named Misty (who I begged my parents repeatedly for), a feisty cat named Max (who truly believed he was a tiger), and a loyal little mouse named Lilly. I currently foster cats for Brooklyn Cat Cafe. So far, we've fostered 20+ cats! You can see our fosters on Instagram at @fostercatmamas. I've been cat & dog sitting on Rover since 2016; prior to that, I've had many years of experience dog sitting for my neighbors' senior dogs (a German Wirehaired Pointer, a Golden, and a Cocker Spaniel), as well as cat sitting (overnight and drop-in). I am compassionate and gentle, and I promise to take excellent care of your pup or cat. I have experience administering different types of oral meds to cats as well. (I also take an excessive amount of photos and videos!)

Zoë is a caring & professional animal lover who is just a joy to work with! We really appreciated that Zoë was able to come meet us & our dog before we traveled. She played with our pup (who immediately loved her) and took notes on our dog's specific needs. Zoë was great to communicate with throughout the whole process, and she sent the sweetest photo updates while we were gone. We're very rarely away from our dog overnight, but we felt completely at ease knowing that our girl was receiving the best level of care & so much love! We couldn't recommend Zoë more highly.
Zoe was so good with Gus. She fed him and made sure he wasn’t chewing on my pillows. She is patient and so nice! Will definitely use again
Zoe took such excellent care of my cat and I can't recommend her enough! She visited my apartment a few days before I left to meet him and take notes on his care, and during my trip she consistently updated me with photos and how he was doing. Zoe didn't just put food in the bowl and clean the litter box, either: She took the time to give him plenty of cuddles and attention too, which I really appreciate. I didn't have to worry a bit about my cat while I was away and would not hesitate to have Zoe cat-sit again when I go out of town.

I’m available for drop-ins and house sitting in South Slope and the surrounding areas (Park Slope, Gowanus, Greenwood Heights). During COVID, I work from home (9-6), and can work from your home with your pets if you'd like!
