Pet care experience
I have grown up with dogs my whole life, we have a little Romanian rescue dog, Polly, ourself and loves the company of other dogs. I personally grew up around Labrador’s from puppy to senior age so have a lot of experience of dogs and their needs (including rescue dogs now too). We know how important it is that your dog is somewhere safe and secure when you are away and we can definitely provide that, with lots of walks and play included too. We do also have a indoor cat who spends most of his time chilling and sleeping up stairs so he would be kept separate from the dog but to be on the safe side we would take dogs in with a super high prey drive. He gets on very well with our little Polly. We both work from home so schedule can be flexible and are off weekends and evenings so lots of time for walks and attention. As long as we have enough notice we can make sure the time is planned so we are around on the weekend/evenings needed to provide all the care and attention. We also have some lovely walks in the area and would take the owners lead of feeding and off lead etc. They will have the freedom of downstairs and secure fenced garden to run around and play in. They wouldn’t be left unattended for large amount of time and we would treat them like part of our little family. Myself and my partner both predominantly work from home so are able to cater to most existing routines. A typical day for our little Polly is a morning walk, breakfast, little play. Toilet breaks in the day and then an evening walk before dinner. Happy to accommodate existing routines to ensure your little doggo feels comfortable We have a secure fenced garden for them to run around and play in. We are also hot on doors etc because of our house cat Robbie

Another happy sleepover with Zoe, Jake, Robbie and Polly for FÃonn - the fotos Zoe sent confirm how he loves to be with them. He’s so happy and he smells divine - we never worry as we know how loved and looked after he is - thank you so much xx
FÃonns second stay with this lovely family - so easy to arrange drop offs and pick ups - it was my 40th and I indulged a little too much and Zoe and Jake were more than understanding and accommodating - I never worry about FÃonn he’s so happy with them x
Another stress and worry free stay for FÃonn with Zoe, Jake Robbie and Polly - daily updates and FÃonn clearly loves it when he stays with them. Daily updates and pics really make it alot easier to be away from him. This is FÃonns 3rd stay - very lucky to have found yous x
From planning a first meet up to arranging the stay it was entirely seamless - we felt we could be so open about FÃonns little ways and nothing seemed a problem that couldn’t be overcome - throughout his stay we had daily updates which are so reassuring and certainly reduce my anxiety and loneliness for him. Wonderful couple and Polly seems to be a hit too - very grateful to have met yous and really happy FÃonn had such a great time - we can really tell he did - 5/5 for the care given and attention to detail xx

We have a fenced garden so they are secure, we also will not take the dogs off lead unless they are repeat visitors and have built trust and a bond with us.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs, specific food or even just details on what they enjoy and how I can make them feel comfortable and happy. If you are training them in anyway I would also want to keep the training up whilst they are with me so any details on that too would be great. It would also be really useful to understand what their routine is normally, for example how many walks, what time of the day, how many times are they fed etc We unfortunately will not take on any dogs with any form of separation anxiety, if we do not think it’s is the right environment for your dog to be in we will be honest and give this feedback and suggest alternative arrangements. In addition to this they have to be able to sleep independently (or with Polly) in their own bed in the kitchen area. Unfortunately we do no let dogs sleep with us in the bed or have free roam of areas like the living room throughout the night.
A typical day
I would want to make sure your dogs day is filled with lots of stimulation through playing and walking. We are so close to Abney park so they can expect lots of walks there watching the ducks and all the squirrels. On a weekend though we do like to venture a little further, sometimes the peaks or Macclesfield forest which is always a fun adventure. I have set the back seat up int he car with a doggy seat belt and hammock so they are super safe when travelling. If your dog enjoys cuddles then they can also expect lots of cuddles!
