Pet care experience
My top priority is making sure your companion feels safe and comfortable whether I am doing a drop in or taking them for a walk. I know that every dog has their own quirks that make them unique. I have raised many dogs from puppyhood to adulthood so I also know how to deal with the challenging aspects of pet care- such as pulling on walks or leash reactivity. I describe myself as a helicopter mom for my dogs- I am always worried about what they could ingest, escape, chase ect. so I know how to keep your furbaby safe!

Best dogwalker ever!
Zoe is awesome! She was so great with Nero and updated me all throughout the time she was watching him includong pics. She even brought along her pup to help socialize Nero which went so well! Definitely will be requesting her again!
Zoe has been the perfect dog walker and has been a delight to get to know! I needed some help walking my dogs while recovering from thumb surgery. Zoe responded to my last minute request enthusiastically. She was always on time and a great communicator. I almost hate to recommend her because I want to ensure she’s available when I need her help. ? I strongly recommend Zoe and my pups give her two paws up!
Zoe has always been super reliable and responsive to us and very caring to our dog Winnie. She agreed to multiple longer than usual walks on the first booking during the week and then accepted a few more requests for walks and drop ins on short notice over the weekend, which really helped us out while we had to travel out of town for a wedding. She even called us just to let us know there was a minor issue with our lockbox to make sure we were aware and not alarmed later when we got home. Overall great service and I will be requesting her services again!

I know that as pet parents, we want the peace of mind of knowing that our pets are in safe and capable hands. If I drop by to care for your pet or take them on a walk, I will always make sure they feel comfortable before leashing them. I always make sure to avoid any discarded food or items that dogs could ingest. I would lever use leash corrections to stop a particular behavior- I believe force free training builds a trusting bond. For drop in visits- I make sure your dog has the opportunity to use the bathroom and gets quality one on one time. Additionally, I can feed them upon your request. I make sure that if crated, I would never leave them with any hazardous toys or collars/harnesses on for choking purposes. You can always contact with me any additional things you would like your dog to do in their time with me!

A typical day
Besides taking your dog for a walk, there are other ways to stimulate and tire out your dog. I like to incorporate enrichment exercises for the dogs on walks such as doing basic obedience skills and letting your dog sniff new things. Inside, snuffle mats, wobble kongs and other treat dispensing toys provide can provide mental stimulation. Playing tug and fetch is another great way to to mentally and physically challenge your pups.

Pet care meshes well with my daily routine! I am most available in the summer months of June-August. As a dog owner myself, pet care is already a part of my daily routine.
