Pet care experience
I own a very rambunctious lop rabbit named Lucille who takes up all my energy at home. I'd love to have my very own dog someday when I'm in a home with a backyard or have a job where I can work remotely or bring my dog with me. Until then, I'd love to meet as many dogs as I can so I can be as prepared as possible when my day comes! I had three small dogs back in high school, so I know how to manage multiple dogs and leashes. I love big dogs, though am only so heavy, so they need to be reasonable about their leash training. I have access to a car, so I'm happy to meet your needs around the PDX area. I would most appreciate clients that are looking for long-term care, though am happy to come walk any dog that just needs to get outside for the day! I'd love to help you fit a dog-walk into your routine, and know how difficult that can be, sometimes Thanks for your consideration!

Although insistent about safety, I enjoy roughhousing with dogs that are playful in that way. If your dog is sensitive in a certain spot or guarded when it comes to their food, please let me know so that I can treat them appropriately. I don't have any breed preferences where it comes to others' dogs, though personally I love a giant, drool-y dog.
A typical day
I love exploring new areas, so we'd likely walk around the neighborhood or find a nearby park. One of the things I love about Portland is that there are so many parks interspersed between our infrastructure, so there's always a park in walking distance. At the park or in the yard, I love playing with dogs, especially fetch and tug-of-war. I'm happy to go for half an hour or more before thinking to check the time. I also love just sitting and relaxing with dogs, so if you have an old soul I am happy to simply recline with them in the shade.
