Pet care experience
I have a true passion for caring for pets, and I have lots of experience with many different animals like cats, dogs, birds, small mammals, fish, and reptiles, and now help care for two cats and my families 6 year old pittbull-husky mix, Lucy! I’ve lived with cats my whole life, so I’m very familiar with cat care and behavior. I also have about a year of experience using Rover, so I have experience with dogs of different sizes, ages, temperament, and needs. My first priority is always your pets safety, though their happiness is a close second! You can rest assured with me that your pets are in the best of hands, with plenty of pictures and updates to keep them close while you’re away!

Zi was detail oriented and made a bonus trip for a pre-stay meet up with the dogs to better understand their needs and establish a rapport. They made a great impression!
Zi was absolutely fantastic! They watched our dog while we were out of town getting married. Our dog has some quirks, and Zi was able to follow our training routine and make sure our dog was safe and loved. Zi sent us updates every day, which we really appreciated. Zi also left our house completely spotless, going above and beyond for us. We are so appreciative!

It’s helpful to know if a dog has any specific habits or behaviors like any aggression, how they play with other dogs, etc, in order to keep everyone safe and happy. I would also love to help teach commands and/or enforce any house rules you may be working on with your dog, like not being allowed on couches or in certain rooms and indoor play.
A typical day
I try to give the pets I watch as much play time as I can, especially for puppies since they can just run forever! This usually means fetch or tug of war, or going for a brisk walk around your neighborhood or any nearby parks! I also strive to provide as much attention and cuddles as your pet wants, to leave them happy and loved!

I work a seasonal summer job on the water taxis on the Potomac and will be available for the next couple weeks to pay those bills haha! Possibly available for long term routines depending on the schedule.
