Hello! My name is Zena, and I love animals. I have been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. I am a full time student who would love a job that involves working with animals -- something that I love doing on my free time. I think that every dog or cat should be showered with love and affection for the short time that they are with us. I worked for Brooklyn Bark and Union Square Dog Walker, both are dog walking and dog-sitting companies. Also I have owned and care for my own pets, and those of family and friends, since my early adolescence. I volunteered at the Manhattan Animal Care and Control Center for 2 years, which I find immensely rewarding. I have experience with all sorts of dogs of various sizes. Why I love dog sitting I have love animals my entire life. I owned a shih tzu for 12 years before she passed away, whom I cherished very much. I treat every dog I interact with as if it was my own dog, Mimi. Additionally, I often catsit my sister's three cats. I considered them to be my nieces and nephew. My experience administering medication I'm comfortable administering oral medication mixed with a dog's favorite food or inserted within doggie pill pocket treats.

Zena helped me with Texi, undetstanding his issues and needs all the way through and being very seeet with him. She always asked in case she wanted to do something extra to make sure I was happy with it and to find out if that would suit the dog and she was always very flexible and helpful in answering to our needs and changing schedules. The dog was in perfect shape and very well kept and even though he was happy to be back home, I am sure he will miss his new friend, with whom he spent a very long time. I reccomend Zena!!
Zena is an avid, attentive, kindhearted person. She is capable of being able to manage Goergie, Honu, and Lazy in a sweet manner while allowing them to be themselves. She takes the time to notice their behaviors that makes them who they and yet in a gentle manner make sure they're obiedent. She takes the time to play with them, and make sure they are fed properly. (Lazzy has a special diet).
