Pet care experience
I’m an experienced pet sitter looking to supplement my current work from home job. I have some free time during the day and just moved back to Staten Island so looking for local opportunities (preferably). While I’ve most done cat sitting in NY, I lived in Germany for about 2 years and did dog sitting consistently. This included boarding dogs at my home and staying at other peoples homes. While I can’t currently board dogs, I am willing to do overnights but am primarily looking for consistent dog walking jobs in Staten Island. I have worked with dogs of all ages and sizes. I am comfortable administering oral medication if needed and am comfortable with puppies.

Zara is a wonderful dog sitter! She took care of my 10 year old black lab mix, Parker and was very professional. She responded to my messages right away leading up to the dog sit. She asked all the right questions and was very friendly. I was nervous if Parker would feel at home with her because he has separation anxiety but, Zara let me know daily that Parker was enjoying himself and keeping busy. I can tell from using her as my repeat dog sitter that she is very caring and enjoys what she does. 5 stars, I'd highly recommend Zara!!

I would mainly need to know if they get along with other dogs and/or people. I always keep a dog close to me when walking by someone anyway since I don’t know the other persons comfortability or dogs behavior.
A typical day
I love taking dogs on long walks to make sure they are stimulated and hopefully tired when they get home! We would explore the neighborhood/nearby parks if any and possibly go to a dog run.

I currently work from home during the week and am very light on meetings, I would have plenty of time to walk and spend time with your dogs at any time of day.
