Pet care experience
Hallo! I'm an Aussie who misses being around pets! I've owned, cared, loved pets since I was 13. I babysat when I was younger and would be often asked to housesit and look after the pets when the families went away. Leaving Pablo in Australia with my sister has been very hard for me as I miss being around pets. I would love to care for your pet as I have time in my remote work and genuine love for animals. I hope we can help each other.

Our home is a 1 bedroom apartment in the heart of Neustadt. It has a balcony which is enclosed and we smoke outside. We have doors to separate each room (bathroom, kitchen, living room, bedroom, and access to balcony). We would place the litter box in the bathroom and close the door to the balcony if we were hosting a cat that needed to stat indoors. We are on the 3rd floor so outside cats would need to be inside anyways. I would take your dog for a walk upon waking, a break at mid morning for a toilet stop, lunch will be spent outside with some nice grass for your dog to chill, afternoon will be another walk/toilet break and evening will be spent cuddling on the couch or bed. Adjustments can be made based on your pet.

I can't wait to get to know your pet more. I don't have a preference as I have the time to attend to most special needs however if your dog isn't very social, I would like to know this so I can be aware when we are in public. Also if they have any codependent behaviours like barking/destroying things when left alone. This will help me plan my day and be with them as much as possible to reduce this stress on them (or any particular training you do in these cases). I have experience with all types of dogs. My current dog in Australia is a Poodle mix and my sister dog is a Border Collie. They are both very intelligent breeds so feel like I can work with most now!
A typical day
I love to get outside as much as possible, especially in Summer (I'm an Aussie). Your pet and I would start our day with a walk along the Elbe (if a dog) or a sunbake in the apartment (if a cat). I usually walk every morning for around 1 hour. There are sections where dogs can swim and be off the lead. Please let me know if you feel comfortable for me to do this. We will head back and have breakfast. I will work for a few hours on my computer either at home or at a cafe, monitoring the dogs need for a toilet break. We will then go to the markets or local dog friendly venue for lunch. Usually followed by some time in the park afterwards. I will get some more things done and then go out for a short walk in the evening after dinner. We will then cuddle and chill to get ready for bed. Happy to make adjustments to fit your pets schedule!

Availability
I work part time and remotely as well as an online Masters Degree at University. The rest of my time is spent with my partner however while he is at work, I spend the day walking along the Elbe, or getting sun at the local park (Alaunpark) or exploring the woods which are a 5 minute walk from my house. My partner (software engineer) and I are both professional, respectful individuals who enjoy being outdoors and will spoil your pet with our time and attention.
