Grad student looking for dog time
Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs of varying breeds, anxiety levels and energy levels. I have experience walking, playing and caring for large dog breeds and dogs with some anxiety, specifically anxiety with meeting new people. I also volunteered with a dog rescue for 3 years and helped with their adoption events during which I was a "puppy wrangler" which meant I was responsible for watching all the puppies at the event. I'm good with dogs that can be unsure around new people, my dog growing up had a huge bark and really didn't like men so I got very used to handling situations with her being nervous around people. I also have large dog at home and have some experience with dog agility classes.

I have years and years of experience babysitting and in many of these cases that included caring for the animals of the house. I respect your space and will only go in rooms or areas that you have indicated I need to. If needed I will also wear a mask in your home.

It would be awesome if you could let me know anythings that your dog either really doesn't like (say like new people, bikes, loud noises) or what they really do like (balls, frisbees, squirrels). And if they have any specific quirks.
A typical day
I normally try to schedule in at least a hour walk in my day anyway so I figured why not bring a dog along. One of my favorite routes is starting in Fenway and then talking along the emerald necklace almost all the way down to Jamaica Pond. I also really like walking along the esplanade.

Availability
This summer I'm only taking classes part time and have a shorter time commitment at my internship. Earlier in the week I have mornings off and have time later in the evening everyday but Wednesday. My schedule may change a bit as the summer progresses but evenings and mornings should stay relatively open and I'll know at least a week in advance about any changes in my schedule.
