I would not rebook with Zakiya. Just like a previous reviewer mentioned, I don’t believe the address provided is the actual location she stays in. The address took us to a different location than where she was when we went to drop off our dog and then proceeded to tell us she was not able to get into her apartment at the time of drop off. She did not keep in contact during the stay, and only responded with 3 word answers when I would check in, no pictures. On the day of pick up I was told “anytime before noon” so we confirmed 10:45. I ended up getting there around 10:26 and Zakiya had “stepped out” and would be back in 5 minutes, then 10, then at 11:58 she finally returned to give us our dog. Not only did our pet have an intense order of what I would describe as old Indian food and cigarette smoke, so did the dog bed(which we just threw out) and her toy. I had to contact Rover Customer service and explain to them that Zakiya was not returning our dog. The only reason I am giving her 1 star is because our dog is still alive...

After I picked Joysie up she drank water from a rain rivulet for approximately 12-14 times longer than I've ever seen her drink water. This tells me that she received insufficient water and possibly no water during her 2 day stay. Joysie pooped twice within the first block. She normally doesn't poop until after 3-4 blocks and only occasionally has two/walk. By the time we got home Joysie had pooped FIVE times. Joysie has never pooped more than twice per walk. This tells me that she was not given a chance to poop nor walked at all for the two days she was under care. Only half of the food that I left for her was used, she should have been given all the food by the time I picked her up. The neighborhood listed in the ad is incorrect. This meant that I underestimated the distance from my home, leading to a 2 mile walk to the location vs an anticipated 1 mile walk. There were indications that the sitter does not reside at the address given as the pickup/dropoff location, which means I don't know where Joysie was during her stay.
