Pet care experience
My previous experience began at the Kentucky Humane Society in Louisville, KY, where I fostered approximately eight dogs and 15 cats. During this time, I provided care, love, and support to these dogs, helping them transition from shelter life to loving homes. I have also pet-sitter for a family on multiple occasions where I dog-sat for both their dogs and cared for their cat while they went away on family trips. I have cared for a dog while she was in heat, ensuring the well-being and safety of her. Now, having moved to Oceanside, CA, I am looking to continue my passion for animals in a new way!

I have a fenced-in yard in my gated community making sure your pet's protection is secure. I also live in a walkable area with side-walks.

I would need to know any behavior issues and if your dog/cat has any special qualities about them. This way I can tailor our schedule around their wants. I also will need proof of vaccination before arrival.
A typical day
If your animal is high-energy then puppy and cat toys it is! Whether playing with puzzles or putting on a nature documentary (my previous cat's loved this)! I can meet their needs. I also will get your dog outside through walking around my neighborhood or going to the Buccaneer Beach! I will go for a walk twice a day or more depending on your animal, such as a senior dog will probably only want 2-3 short walks rather than a mile hike twice a day!

Availability
I currently work at home and love exploring my surroundings via biking, hiking, or walking! Since I work from home, I am able to tailor my schedule around the needs of your pet! My husband and I currently share one car at the moment and he has to go in for work, so please give me a proper amount of time to arrange a pick-up/drop-off schedule!
