I became a sitter because, frankly, I just couldn’t think of anything I like doing better than getting to spend time with pups! Being a dog mom of my own for the past decade has been an incredible experience, and it makes me happy to know that I can help provide pups with the love and affection they need while their owner is away. I work from home, which means that I have a very flexible schedule. I’m a perfect fit for pups that don’t like to be alone for very long, or even just like the extra love and attention. I also have two of my own pups, Cosmo and Bonnie, that are very friendly and would love to help make your pooch a temporary part of our family! I always make sure to provide tons of attention to your pup during a stay as well. I currently live in Michigan Park/Woodridge area of Northeast DC. It’s a neighborhood filled with trees, and is very quiet. It’s very close to the dog parks, which is perfect for getting out and socializing whenever we start to feel bored! I also have a nice, shaded yard and a house that is very accommodating to pups.

My little 7.5 month old Frenchie did great! She got lots of play time with Twist, one of her host doggies, so I think she was so distracted she barely noticed I had left her for three nights. The back yard is huge and she got to go to the dog park and was a happy baby when I arrived to pick her up!

A typical day
Since I work from home, I relish any opportunity I get to break up my day and stretch my legs. Whether that’s going for a quick walk with Bonnie and Cosmo or a trip to the dog park to supervise some playtime, we always make sure to get out as often as possible. My pups love to get out and socialize, so we’ll be on the go frequently! My neighborhood is a great place to explore too.
