I've always had an emotional connection with animals. I remember when I was 10 years old and my dog Shane saw the sad day I was having and rested his head on my lap. Since then, I've grown passionate about taking care of dogs and the many pets I've cared for over the years. I have accumulated many experiences because of this. I've dog sat for entire weekends, walked multiple dogs at once, and taken them to the vet. On a daily basis, I feed and walk friends and families dogs while also occasionally bathing and training them. I also take care of two bunnies (Ice cream and Cone), two cats (Buttercup and Sophie), and a bearded dragon lizard (Spike). I've taken a zoology class, where I watch and take of chinchillas, bunnies, birds, and snakes while also being educated about them. While watching a dog, a typical day would start by feeding them and making sure they have a chance to use the number 1 and 2 on their morning walk. Once we're back I like to play simple games with them using their own toys whether it's inside or outside in the backyard (if available). Usually I play anything from fetch to tug of war with dogs. I also make sure their hair is well kept so I brush their fur regularly. In the afternoon, I think it's important to take the dog out for a walk to get some daily exercise. During this time I like to walk to a park or around the neighborhood for 30 to 60 minutes. At dinner time I of course feed them again and make sure they can use the bathroom before they go to bed. If anything, I want your pet to feel just as safe with me as they already do with you. I know how important trust is in these situations, which is why I think my experience with animals is worth your time.
