Pet care experience
I've had pets my entire life, meaning I've grown up dealing with many different breeds and different demeanors. I can handle small dogs like terriers and chihuahuas, but I wont shy away from larger mastiff like dogs. I also do not believe any dog is "bad," meaning pitbulls are welcomed! Furthermore, I have volunteered at dog shelters, worked at a pet store handling and helping many dogs and cats, and I have house sit before. During my care, I make sure the animal is fed, comfortable, and loved. Whenever I am dealing with an animal, I make sure they are my top priority and I definitely will be playing with the, or cuddling, or merely laying near them, depending on the dogs wishes!

Zachery was WONDERFUL! I had another terrible experience with another sitter here on Rover and was so anxious to leave my animals with anyone do soon after and he put my mind at such ease. I told me from the start that I had cameras and he truly welcomed them. Every time I checked them he was playing with my dogs or outside with them playing. He was a more present animal parent that I am sometimes 😂. We’ll always be using him in the future!
Zachary did a super job sitting at our home for our two doxies. He communicated with us several times a day, sending photos and comments. It was obvious that both our dogs loved him. We wouldn't hesitate to have him come back!
Zachary was an AMAZING sitter for Halsey! She loved playing rope with him and loved all the cuddles he gave her! Definitely would recommend him for your fur babies!
Zach did a great job with our zoo and was great about keeping me updated on them while I was gone.

I make sure my dogs always have water, food, and plenty of blankets. I make sure they are comfortable and I play with them if they seem bored. If they are laying down, I will walk over and love on them! This care and affection will carry over to any dog or cat I sit for. Additionally, I will let the pet decide what they are comfortable with, meaning I will listen to their body language and what they want!

I would love to know a dogs mannerisms and commands they already know. This will allow me to understand what your dog is attempting to tell me, whether it is asking for play time or to go potty. Additionally, I would like to know about any special feeding requirements, dietary restrictions, amount of bathroom breaks recommended, and any other health related information to ensure I can provide the best care possible!
A typical day
Depending on your dog it could vary a lot! I could take your dog on a walk around the block or neighborhood depending on your dog's ability. I could play with your dog for hours, like I do my own, to help tire them out. I could have a cuddle session depending if your dog is a tad lazy, like my own Beryl, or I can teach them new tricks to stimulate their mind! All in all, I will try to keep your dog engaged, tail waging, and smiling all day long!

Availability
Being a college student gives me a bunch of free time, especially in the afternoons. Meaning once classes are out, I have a lot of availability to walk, sit, or drop in to care for your animals. Additionally, with most of my classes in the mornings, I've become accustomed to waking up in the morning, so getting up to go take your puppy out early in the morning or ensuring your elderly dog has plenty of potty breaks is a very easy task!
