Pet care experience
I’m Zach, a 21 year old University of Maryland student in my senior year at thenUniversity. I grew up with my own pets (dogs, cats, goldfish, and even a hamster) and began taking care of neighbors houses and pets at age 8! I have a range of experience with animals including walking and caring for dogs from puppies to elderly dogs. Additionally I have a lot of experience caring for cats for friends as well as my own. I also have experience house and pet sitting at the same time and enjoy meeting new animals. For walks, drop in visits, and house sitting I will be able to stop by up to 5 times a day and stay overnight as well as during evening and during my breaks between work and classes, but I will be unable to stay full time during the days. In order to perform home stays with me, I will be able to provide some additional care and time with your pets, but would be around the same amount of time as house sitting your home. I have a dog of my own who is friendly and loves to play.

Zachary is a very responsible person with an amazing work ethic. Since he was 5 he has helped care for the family pets. First learning to feed them and a bit later being in charge of after school walks every day. When we had a new puppy Zachary helped potty train and behaviorally train the puppy. He currently lives in a house that has a young dog and he loves spending time with that dog. I highly recommend Zachary as a pet minder and walker.
I live with Zach and our roommate's dog Mila has become incredibly attached to him. Zach is very kind and loving, and if he's on the couch then you can always find Mila cuddled right up with him. She's quite energetic and chaotic but she's so sweet towards him and always wants to play. He treats her like she's his own and I know he would do the same to any dog he takes care of. Zach is one of the most hard working and caring people I know, and I have seen firsthand that he would make a great caregiver!

I love to walk dogs on the trolley trail, the paint brush trail, and loop around Lake artemisia. Our yard has lots of room to play on a leash, and several dogs in the neighborhood that like to have play dates if your dog is social.
