Pet care experience
I have owned pets my entire life, ranging from both large and small scale. I get along very well with animals, and always treat them with kindness. I have a small amount of experience with training dogs, so if you want your dog to learn a trick or two then I could probably get the job done! I really enjoy playing and bonding with animals, and I will always do my best to provide your pet with a memorable and joyful experience!

This was the first time I had used Rover. I was very nervous about leaving my baby for 8 days with someone I didn't know. Zach stayed at my house as I had requested even letting my little boy sleep with him! When I returned Emmett seemed happy to see me but not overly so like he has been sometimes in the past. I knew that meant he had felt comfortable and happy while I was gone which is all I cared about. I would definitely use Zach again.
Zach took great care of my pups, is flexible and will keep you up to date

I am not allowed to have animals in my current home, but there is a dog park 5 minutes from my house. I also live a minute away from UNCW's campus, which is a great place for walking!
Information Zach R. would like to know about your pet
I always feel most comfortable when I get to meet a pet and its owner before committing to anything. I want to be able to build trust, and I want to learn any additional information that I might need to know. I can understand that leaving a pet with a stranger can be a hard thing to do, and I hope to make it not so hard for owners.
A typical day
When it comes to activities, I try to find things that dogs enjoy most. After spending some time with a dog and opening them up to new things, I start to get a sense of what they like and don't like. Things that I will try with dogs are take them on walks, play catch with a ball or frisbee (or anything really), teach them fun tricks, and I'll do small silly things just to play with them or catch their attention.

Availability
I am a college student taking online courses, so my availability is open for the most part. I am currently looking for another part-time job, but that will only affect my availability for a few hours out of the day. I am open to work any day of the week!
