Pet care experience
I have cared for animals for 25 years. I have fostered dogs since I was 9. I worked at a dog boarding center for 4 years during college. While working there I got certified in animal care and basic obedience training. Utilized these certifications to help train and care for my shelter fosters so they could be “more adoptable” and spend less time on the shelter. I partnered with my local police department in creating a dog fighting victim rehabilitation program. Where I nursed animals that were used in dog fighting rings back to health and taught them compassion again and trained dog aggression out of them. 2 of military dog handling training. I hope to be fully certified by the end of the year in Animal services training (training service animals).

Zach was great! Could not recommend him higher. I had to leave my dog with him for 2 weeks and when I got my Great Dane Apollo back, he was so happy and healthy.

We came thru town for one night on road trip and wanted to check out the capitol for the afternoon. We tried multiple dog care places and got turned down by all of them. Moved over to Rover and Zach was responsive and made himself available. Easy to work with and helped us enjoy our visit. Two ? ? Thx Zach.
Zach is an excellent caretaker! He clearly loves animals and is super attentive. I always know my dog is in good hands when in Zach's care and they have really bonded. Couldn't recommend him enough!

I treat the dog I am caring for like I care for Bentley. This depends on the owners guidance as far as being allowed on furniture and sleeping in bed (my dog is allowed) I give a walk about every two hours, and one long walk when the weather is cooler in the evening.

Please let me know if there are any special needs that I need to be aware of to provide the best service for your dog. If they are in medications, have any limits as far as walk distance, if they need special help eating, any hotspots that I should not per them. I want your dog to feel at home so please feel free to tell you how you would take care of them and I will do the same. I do request that we meet up before I accept the reservation to make sure that your dog and my dog Bentley get along. He is very easy and loves everyone and everything. During this visit you can tell me everything about your dog.
A typical day
I love to give your dog the best day they have ever had. While remaining disciplined. Any rules you have for your dog will be enforced. I love taking the dogs on walks at auditorium shores that is across the street from my apartment.

Availability
I currently work full time. I fully work from home if I have fosters or other dogs staying over. If it is just my dog Bentley and I go in three days a week and he comes with me. Pet care is an essential part of my day and is just as important to me as taking care of myself.
