My name is Zach and I've been looking after friends' pets for many years just for the joy of it, and I've had dogs in my family since I was born. I've also been on Rover for almost 6 years now. I have a dog named Jonesy (a black English lab) who I love desperately. He is the sweetest thing in the world and loves every person and every dog he's ever met. He would love to have a friend over! I went to school for many years to get my PhD in Mechanical Engineering. I'm now a professor at the University of Vermont and have a pretty open schedule, so I'd like to spend my spare time meeting new dogs! Feel free to contact me at any time!

Our dog had a great time with Zach and his dogs! Zach shared pics and videos with us throughout the weekend, which helped put us at ease and know that he was in good hands. Zach also made for a quick, safe, and easy driveway dropoff, as our request due to COVID. He also came outside to meet us with a mask on, which was also appreciated. We will be sure to use Zach again next time we are in town. Thanks again!
Zach was prompt to reply to messages and took great care of my extra rambunctious pup. He has a fantastic fenced backyard, and his own dog that likes to play and is very friendly. I highly recommend Zach if your considering using Rover!

Zach is wonderful! He cares deeply about dogs (and the needs of the owners!), is extremely professional, exercises great judgement and is kind. I’m new to the area and needed some help walking my doodle Paddy. Zach was extremely responsive in setting up a date to meet us, checked in before our first walk, and sent me photos and updates of Paddy having fun in the park each day, which I loved and appreciated. Paddy happened to be having an issue with one of her paw pads and he took her tempo to determine how far to walk – and even carried her home one day because that’s what she needed! I would highly recommend Zach – and already have – to my friends.
