Pet care experience
Hi, I am Yvonne and I have had, and been around, dogs all my life. My husband and I had our own little rescue dog who was 8 years old when he sadly passed away in September 2023. All our family members have dogs or cats so all the pets play a big part in our lives and we care for each others pets occasionally. We are surrounded by great places to walk which we enjoyed with our dog. We have a safe garden and home with plenty of outside space. We are around all of the time so your dog will be cared for very well. We have time to dedicate to the small dog community in memory of our beloved dog.

The garden is completely safe and fenced which was done for the safety of our own little dog when we had him so yours would be safe too. Our families and friends have dogs so when they visit all of the dogs just enjoy spending time with each other and they often stay over with their canine companions.

We have looked after many dogs now through Rover but only smaller dogs please, preferably under 9ths. Let me know if your dog needs any special care or food or if there is anything he/she particularly likes to do or not do.
A typical day
Living very close to St. Catherine’s Hill there are lots of lovely walks close by. We have the beach very close to us too and a local park with a huge field. We will take your dog on all these lovely walks and we play ball games in the house too so your little dog will have lots to do. At the end of they day they can cuddle up on the sofa and relax with us at home or just sit with us in the garden if the weather is kind. We love our garden so spend time out there when we can so lots of fresh air.

I am semi-retired and any work is done from home so I am at home all of the time with my husband too who is retired. I have lots of time to spare and enjoy our local walks. Our little dog used to come with us wherever and whenever he could so we know lots of great local dog friendly places.
