I am 25 yr. old devoted animal lover, paw massaging, kiss showering, dog walking, poop bag carrying, treat giving, always cuddling, sofa sharing, loving, and caring DOG MOM :D I decided to offer pet services after losing my oldest Lassy to cancer during the summer of 2016.. Because of her I am able to honor her by being available to you on this site and share my love of animals with you all! I am a full-time honor student at Sac State majoring in the amazing field of Speech Language Pathology! I'm a senior now (YAY) and will graduate this May of 2018 with a B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders. My long-term goal is to work as a Pediatric SLP in the NICU of hospital settings as a feeding specialist with infants dealing with cleft palate. I am paying my own way through school and live in East Sacramento where I am living in a 2,000 sq ft. townhome across the street from Mae Fong Park. There are no pets living here so your fur baby will be the only dog at my place. I have close access to dog parks and the American River for walks outside. This works great for me and my furry friends because it allows for plenty of potty breaks and play time! Besides being a student, Rover sitting is my only job so I just go to school and come back home. During the week, I have two classes a day and am away at school daily for about 4 hours total but since I have a large time gap in between classes I come home during my break. This works out great for me and your fur baby so they will not be alone for much time at all! On weekends, I also enjoy going hiking or going to the beach; so if your dog does too then I'd love an adventure buddy! I also enjoy going back to my family home in Stockton where my parents have two senior doxies who live a sedentry lifestyle and are used to being around other dogs. Additionally, I am flexible in location drop off and pick up. My loving boyfriend Erick, wonderful roommates, and family members are equally available to share their experience and knowledge of dogs and are eager to ensure your pet(s) will have a comfortable, fun, and safe time in our home! My attributes include: -Have experience with variety of sizes, breeds, and ages of dogs. -Make my own vet approved dog food -Located about half a mile to a dog park and a mile to vet hospital (Stockton home) -Live across the street from a family park (Sacramento home) -Own a pet stroller for sick, injured, or older dogs (or any one who wants to just sit back and relax) -Own Petzi-Cam (accessible through the Petzi app on your smart phone) for you to watch, snap, treat, and talk to your pet 24/7 I am proud to be the type of person who pulls over to help lost animals roaming around find their way back home; and if they are strays I've successfully found new loving homes for them :) I've gained most of my experience by the exposure I received while volunteering at numerous animal shelters. This alone has allowed me to increase my awareness on a variety of breeds of dogs and cats who have different temperaments and needs. A lifelong goal I have relating to animal care is to start my own nonprofit sanctuary for lost, abused, and senior dogs!!
