Pet care experience
I am a veterinarian who is actively involved in rescue and foster work. I am hoping to sustain and take a small break while I pursue a bigger role in the community. I moved to the area two years ago and was the director for a mass spay neuter clinic during that time. Compassion fatigue got the best of me working with shelter animals and I decided to pursue the position of director of animal services in my county. My goal is to sustain myself financially during this transition. I am passionate about animals and I am also passionate about helping the community. This side income will definitely help me pay my bills while I seek a more important role in our county. Socialized animals only please. Owners will be contacted if pets become fractious, for their safety they will be transported for free to the boarding facility of the owners choice. Owner will be responsible for any additional costs that this might incur. I am limited as to how many large breeds I can have due to kennel space, and I will also only except one unaltered pet (male or female) at a time. This is for everyone's safety. Thank you!!
Reviews
Dr. Witte is an amazing professional but most important is the honest passion she holds for animals. I have known her for years, during her undergrad studies when she volunteered for different animal protection agencies in South Florida. I witness her dedication to her graduate studies abroad as well. Her love for animals is boundless as it’s her commitment to animal’s welfare; that combined with her Veterinarian academic credentials makes Yvette the most trustworthy animal sentinel.
