Pet care experience
I have a Golden Retriever puppy and I personally am a very active person so I enjoy playing with her, taking walks, going on runs, and keeping up with high energy dogs. So if you need to tire your dog out, I'm here to the rescue! I am also passionate and experienced in training dogs. I can teach and do tricks with them and provide mental stimulation exercises. I can handle dogs of all sizes. Can't wait to meet your fur baby! I’m currently unemployed due to the current situation going on. Therefore, my schedule will be very flexible to work with your availability but please give me a 24 hour in advance cancellation or reschedule. I am pretty much available anytime from 11am through 8pm. I live in an apartment currently. So mental stimulation/tricks, tug-a-war, etc will be done indoors. However, for exercise such as walking, running it will be done outdoors. I have a Golden Retriever at home and she is friendly and playful to all dogs of any size, but if your male dog isn’t intact I won’t be able to keep them together as she isn’t spayed, hope you can understand.

I am so lucky we found Yurie. She is prompt, professional and did a great job communicating with us before, during and after walking Leia. Yurie was able to handle our 50 lb pitbull AND her own puppy Gamja, getting them both to walk together nicely shortly after meeting. I most appreciated that Yurie came prepared wearing a face mask and did her best to respect social distancing guidelines even while picking up Leia. If you're concerned about COVID and want someone who takes your and your pet's safety into consideration, Yurie is your person.
Yurie is one of the most, if not THE most responsible, caring and hard working person i know, i am strongly confident that adding Yurie to your team would benefit the company and also the customers using the dog sitter services, i have nothing but compliments and admire her hard working mentality. I've known Yurie for awhile now. We met at an old job years ago, and she's always been a bright, caring, and a responsible person. She's always expressed her love for animals, especially when it comes to my dog, Kiyoshi. So I knew I could rely on her on the days I have work long hours, especially bc I don't like leaving kiyoshi alone for too long. Yurie, is unbelievably helpful, & she cares for dogs basically like her own child. I can say that because I don't just trust anyone with my dog.

I am with my partner most of the time and he is also a dog owner/dog lover who can also play with your dog! I own a Golden Retriever puppy and she is very friendly and loving to other dogs and people. She will want to be best friends so if you need to socialize your dog, I can do that. However, if your dog is an intact male I won't be able to as my puppy is an intact female.

I would like to know how the dog is fed and how much they go potty. I would also like to know how YOU deal with good/bad behaviors so I am on the same page and don’t confuse the dog. I would like to know how socialized your dog is with other dogs and people. I would like to know how they do on walks, if they have a problem pulling, getting distracted, etc. I would like to know what their favorite form of exercises are because my Golden Retriever loves fetch but I know some breeds don’t care for that. I would also like to know what their knowledge is on the tricks they are able to perform. Also, anything unique about your particular dog such as allergies, certain behaviors, etc. I don’t have any breed preferences as I love all dogs but I am more experienced with larger breeds.
A typical day
I am great at providing physcial exercise as well as mental stimulation exercises with dogs. I plan on walking on sidewalks, going to nearby parks, running, etc. I try to walk them in the shady areas to prevent their paws from burning and also overheating in general. Some fun activities I do with dogs is playing fetch, playing tug a war, mental exercises and tricks, and creating positive reinforcements.

Availability
I am pretty much available all day from 11am-7pm. Please contact me to schedule a time within that availability slot. Currently, I am unemployed due to the circumstances in the world, so I will most likely be home. I am looking for an ongoing long-term set schedule, however I am very flexible and we can work things out that best fit both of our schedules.
