Pet care experience
Heya! My name is Yumi and I am hoping to help pet owners provide the best care for their pets. As a postgraduate student I have a very flexible schedule, so I have lots of availability for walking and caring for pets. I grew up with dogs and horses my entire life and am very familiar with caring for animals. My family used to foster dogs, so I’ve had experience with rescues and dogs/puppies with special needs. I’ll happily keep up with any training regime you have because I know how important it is! I am very active and I enjoy long walks, cuddles and games of fetch. My go-to is battersea park, but also frequent the Vauxhall dog park and Wandsworth common. All dogs in my care will be very, very loved!

Yumi was lovely and very friendly. Kubo definitely enjoyed his walk with her at the park. I highly recommend her. Kubo will be excited to see her again!

Yumi was great and very accommodating considering we sent our request with short notice. Great updates and Fille was a very happy old fella when we picked him up. Seems like he had a great time according to his needs :)

I live in a flat that has a fenced communal garden. If your dog is boarding and is used to a crate, please bring this along with their food, their favourite toy and maybe something that smells like you. I know how it important is is for your pets to have the attention they deserve when you're too busy, so hope I am able to help :) I will always keep you updated with messages, videos and pictures so you can be sure your pets are in safe hands (Also, who doesn't love to see lots of pictures!)

Please do let me know if your dog is reactive, sensitive to noises and busy roads and is friendly with other dogs so that I can make adjustments on our walks! Also do let me know if there are any behaviours you are working on correcting so that I can reinforce your dogs learning.
A typical day
I currently work from home so can work pet care into my daily routine with ease. It normally works for me to bring your pet for a walk in the morning before I start work. I can also walk in the evening if needed. I can bring dogs out for toilet breaks every 1-2 hours. I also live just a 10 minute walk from Battersea park which great for letting them off the lead and playing fetch.

Availability
If your pet has separation anxiety or gets a little nervous being home alone this will be no problem. I’m also able to offer up to 3 walks a day in my care depending on how active your dog is.
