Your first question probably is why should you choose me instead of another sitter to take care of your dog. Let me give you SEVEN REASONS 😊 : 1) I ONLY HOST TWO TO THREE different families of pups at the same time to guarantee your pooch's comfort and attention tailored to his or her needs as if he/she were at home, 2) There are TWO PARKS and plenty of green areas within the safety of my gated dog-friendly condominium, where your pooch can run, bark, and smell the recently cut grass, as well as having more than enough potty breaks in a day, 3) I ONLY ACCEPT SMALL to MEDIUM BREEDS: Although big dogs are equally loveable, I know firsthand that sharing with bigger dogs may be stressful for small doggies that typically do not live with one, 4) COMFY BEDS, TONS OF TOYS, AND EXTRA BOWLS AND LEASHES are included for your pup's use during the stay. You'd only need to bring his/her regular food, and pee pads if applicable, 5) FULL AVAILABILITY: I am always reachable before, during, and after the stay for any concern you may have, 6) UPDATES & INQUIRIES: I will send you pictures, videos, and/or texts by default unless you advise me of something different so that you can check on your pup while being away, 7) SOCIALIZATION: I live with Dappy, a docile, friendly, and small but big-hearted dog I rescued from a high kill shelter he ended up at after two years of abuse. He will socialize with your pup and will help him/her to get rid of any anxiety or sadness due to separation. He will also respect your pup's personal space. Dappy is a well-behaved trained dog with great social skills. Hope these reasons convince you, and I have the opportunity to meet you and your pup. Keep reading and find out😍🐶💛 *************************************** B) WHAT IS AND ISN'T INCLUDED/ ACCEPTED? ----> Included: Daily care of your pup and attention to all of his/her basic needs such as: ✔ Three to Four potty breaks a day, including one to two 15-20 mins walks, conducted with the use of a leash and harness; ✔ Feeding & Drinking: Regular food must be provided to avoid bad tummies, fresh water will always be available for your pup; ✔ Comfortable and safe space to sleep and play at our home. Fresh clean beds and covers will be provided during the stay; ✔Bowls, harnesses, and leashes to be used by your pup during the stay; and; ✔Change of used pee pads to brand new ones (If applicable. Pee pads must be provided). ---->Not Included/Accepted: ❌️No care will be provided to all of the following, to ensure the safety of our pooches guests, neighbors, and other resident dogs: - Aggressive/ Destructive Dogs - Dogs with Any Kind of Pest Diseases (Ticks, fleas, etc.) -Puppies without vaccinations up to date, including but not limited to rabies, parvovirus and dewormers. - Females In Heat - Dogs with Excessive Barking (Uncontrollable and Longlasting) - Dogs with Behavioral Issues (Unjustified Biting/Nipping, heavy anxiety as to produce unhealthy symptoms, other similar). Should you not know if a specific personality trait of your pup qualifies for any of the above, please let us know before confirming the booking. ❌️No Medical Care that is typically provided by an Expert Veterinary, including but not limited to the administration of vaccines/insulin/other similars. Basic pill administration is included if a schedule is indicated by you. ❌️Baths/Grooming (unless offered as part of a promotion): Please make sure your pup is reasonably groomed and sanitized before the stay begins. No professional or paid grooming is required, just overall cleanliness to maintain a healthy and safe environment. ❌️Other additional duties not related to basic care, nor the general standard usually followed by dogsitters for daily care (e.g. dog training, I can certainly reinforce and follow certain schedules per instructions but generally, professional trainer assistance and/or frequent long-lasting sessions are most likely appropriate to see results) *************************************** C) EXTENDED CARE, PICK-UP & DROP OFF: ---->Dropoff and Pickup times are subject to mutual availability, and BY APPOINTMENT ONLY to avoid delays or overlaps with our work/class schedule at home as well as other domestic duties or family obligations. Should you need to make a change to the booking, please contact us as soon as possible. The sooner we know of any change, the better we can accommodate :) ----> Preferred Drop Off & Pick Up Times at our home: Between 9 AM to 9 PM. ----> Rover Extended Care Info: Rover has implemented extended care fees for when a pup is picked up beyond the 26 hours-period covered by the daily boarding rate, to ensure sitters are compensated for the additional time rendered. The 26 hours period starts rolling from the dropoff time. For example, if you drop your fur baby off at 9 AM, no extended care fee applies if you pick him/her up by 11 AM, on the last day booked. ----> Rover Extended Care Fees:The extended care service fee will be calculated automatically by Rover when dropoff and pickup times are requested/agreed: • If the extended care is up to 8 additional hours, clients will pay an additional amount that is 50% of the boarding daily rate. • If the extended care is 8+ additional hours, clients will pay an additional amount that is 100% of the daily boarding rate. The latest time for pickups is 9 PM. ----> Pickup & Dropoff Service at a Place of your Choosing: Don't want the STRESS of driving in Miami to drop off your dog before your long-awaited trip? No worries, we'll do it too! For your convenience, both PICK-UP & DROP-OFF options are available through the app. The posted rate applies to both Pickup & Dropoff services if service is to be completed within a 10 miles radius from our home (located near Westland Mall in Hialeah-Palmetto Exit 103rd St.). An additional $1.50 per mile applies to longer distances/driving time. Please check with me for a final rate. *************************************** D) BATHING OPTION ----> The full bath in the tub will be a gentle bath from ears to tail, with warm water, and using a soft and natural shampoo & conditioner (paraben, sulfate & alcohol-free), as well as gentle cleaning products for eyes and ears. ----> Bath Rates: The rates for your fur baby to have a full bath, and smell incredibly good before going home with you are: $18: if booked on Rover $15: if booked directly with us *Dematting/knotting and nail clipping is not included. ************************************** E) PAYMENT & CANCELLATION ----> Payments are withheld by Rover until the stay is finalized and will be then released to the sitter. ----> Payment must be made within 48 hours of the initial booking request so that we may reserve the dates and times previously discussed and agreed upon. If no payment is secured within the 48 hours- period, the request will be archived and dates and times will be released to other pups. In this case. Please check again with us to confirm availability. ----> Cancellations: Because we have limited availability, and we set aside a spot for your pup during the requested dates, you’ll receive a FULL REFUND if you cancel by 12 PM. THREE DAYS BEFORE the booking begins. If you cancel later than 12 PM. three days before the booking begins, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first 7 days of the booking. You’ll receive a 100% refund for any days after that. ************************************** F) UPDATES & INQUIRIES (PHOTOS-VIDEOS) ----> Daily Updates: We often send updates about your pup. Updates frequency will depend on the length of the stay. However, as parents of a loving pup, we understand the anxiety of being away from your fur baby, thus we have a preference for sending updates at least once every day. This is especially true for first-time clients that are still in the process of building a trusting relationship with us. ----> Updates & Inquiries, Time & Frequency: We may send the updates at a different time than the day before as it depends of our regular schedule and daily life obligations. Mornings are the busiest part of the day for us, thus we are more likely to send updates in the afternoon. Should our schedule permit it, we will send morning updates as well. ----> Replying to Your Update Request: If you request an update before we send one that day, we will respond as soon as we see your inquiry, depending of our work/class schedule). If we are dealing with an actual personal emergency that prevents us from responding accordingly, we will promptly communicate with you as soon as we can to let you know the reason for the delay, not to worry. Late Night Inquiries----> If you happen to be in a different time zone while you're away, please keep in mind that we may receive your update request late at night. Considering our schedule for the next day, there might be times when we are sleeping or unable to attend phone calls. However, rest assured that we will respond to your inquiries from the previous night as soon as we become available the next day. We understand the importance of staying connected and will make every effort to keep you informed. ----> Photos, Videos, Messages: The updates will be a combination of two to three of these options. Updates will rarely consist of messages alone. ----> Rights to Photos & Videos: By booking with us, you agree that any photos and/or videos taken during the stay are owned and may be used by us on our social media platforms, be reproduced, shared, or be part of advertisements related to our pet sitting work. Sensitive or personal information will be edited or removed, if applicable (e.g. dog's tag showing phone or address) if we use stay photos/videos outside the stay chat. You are responsible for editing or removing personal information from photos-videos that you reproduce and/or share outside the stay chat.
