Pet care experience
I have been a dog lover since I remember things. My mom has OCD on cleanliness so I couldn't have dogs when I grew up so I always went to my relatives' houses to help take care of their dogs. Having dogs around have always been my dream and it finally came true in 2022 when I got my own shiba inu- Choppa. He loves playing with other dogs but have little interest in playing with balls and bones himself. I work from home and really wants to find an accompany for him to keep him happy. This is the main (and almost the only) reason I'm on rover. Therefore a meet up before booking is mandatory for me. I need to be responsible and make sure both your dog and mine are happy with each other. I'm dedicated to make my place full of love for your dog and give you frequent updates while you are away. Having a dog myself I know what are the good qualities I appreciate in dog sitters and I’m confident that I have them.

This was our first experience using Rover. We chose Yuan due to the proximity of our home. Not sure what to expect we were pleasantly surprised. Yuan immediatelymade is feel comfortable. As a dog owner herself there was nothing to explain to her what expect or do. In addition having a sweet dog as a companion for our dog made everything right. We received constant daily updates, photos and videos as a confirmation of how things were going. Yuan is a sweet and loving pet owner.
Yuan was great with Maze as always, we also get a lot of news which is very appreciated!
Excellent host, groot had a ball of time with the host and her dog chopppa. I’d definitely recommend
Cola has had a amazing time with Yuan and Choppa; Yuan is so caring and professional, and we got many pictures + updates on Cola everyday. It’s our first time using Rover, and we will definitely recommend Yuan! She is absolutely amazing!

I believe expectation management is the most important thing. I want to understand what is your expectation and I'm committed to deliver it. Before the final decision, I need a meet up in the public space (e.g. dog park) to make sure your dog will get along with me and my dog. I would ask for detailed notes from you about how you take care of your dog, the habits, likes and dislikes, to make your dog feel like at home as much as possible.

My preference is to have dogs that get along with my dog. I live in a studio so for the wellness of your dog, my dog and me, I do not accept dogs more than 30lbs. Because I have a full time job, I can't provide potty breaks more than three times a day, ideally two times. If your paw friend needs to pee outside more than 3 times a day, then unfortunately I’m not the right sitter for you. I will have to turn down if you request more frequent walks. For boarding request more than a week, I request you to book a trial day with me to make sure your dog gets along with us and has no concerning behavior issues.
A typical day
In my studio, I play with the dogs using their own toys and would also give them some trainings. Outside I will walk the dogs based on your need. Please pay attention i don’t offer potty breaks less than 4hours. I also bring dogs to dog park with the owner’s permission.

I work from home for most of the time and can take the dogs when I go to office so I can keep them accompanied all time. I live in a studio, it's not big for dogs to run a lot so I don't take dogs more than 30lbs. For smaller dogs I find they consume a lot of energy playing with my dog. I also take dogs out for long walk to make sure they get enough exercise.
