Working my way onto being a Vet!
Pet care experience
I aspire to be a Veterinarian because I love animals and have always been fascinated with the idea of treating them, from watching tv shows to Youtube videos. Ever since I was little, seeing the ASPCA commercials and bawling my eyes out, I have wanted to take care of animals and keep them strong and healthy. As of right now, I'm currently a sophomore at Lewis-Clark State College studying to earn my Bachelor's in Biology so that I can work my way up to applying to a good Veterinary school. I have been a pet sitter for 3 years, starting back in my hometown of Richland, WA, and love animals of all shapes and sizes! I am also currently volunteering at the LC Animal Shelter and want to earn as much experience as I can to get into graduate school and help offset college expenses :))

Ysobel was great with our dogs. One of our dogs is really leery around strangers, but by the end of the visit, Ysobel had calmed her down and sitting in Ysobel's lap!
Was great with the dogs
Ysobel once again did a great job taking care of Callie & Gracie. The kitty's were a little braver this time! Thank you again for the service as I travel a fair amount and do not have immediate family members to look after my cats.
Ysobel looked after our two dogs for 4 nights while we were on vacation. She was very professional, friendly and great with our dogs. She sent us photos while we were gone and was very responsive to messages and kept us informed about our pups. Would definitely recommend her to anyone and would have her watch our dogs again if our schedules align!

I feed twice a day (unless otherwise stated by pet owners) and try to keep everyone separate while eating so as not to start anything. I also have a flexible schedule, where I can come over and check up on your beloved fur babies. I am always sure to follow instructions, properly care for different animals, and make sure they are comfortable and well-loved.

Let me know if any of your animals have any problems, whether behavioral, medical, special needs, or anything of that sort, so I know how to be prepared. I don't have a breed preference; all animals are welcome, and they don't have to be fixed but it is preferred if they are. I also do ask that most owners do a meet and greet with me, if at all possible, as to make sure that me and their animals get along. If owners are not able to for whatever reason, that's fine with me :)
A typical day
I love to stimulate your animals physically and mentally. I can take them out on walks, give them some fantastic cuddles, anything that your pet can possibly ever need!

Availability
As a current college student, I am only here during the school year and thus, I will be available until May 9th and then I will be off back home for summer break. Currently, I'm available Monday-Friday any time after classes and possibly before/or on breaks in between. I have also taken up an on-campus job whose schedule changes every week, so anybody who can be flexible with schedules would be greatly appreciated. As for weekends, I will be trying to go back home to visit family once or twice a month, but every other weekend I'm totally open and would love to care for your pet!
