I'll treat them like you do.

Pet care experience

Hi, I hope you're having a good day. Having had a pet I understand how special they are. I worked at Biscuits and Bath as a dog handler, walker and bather for 2 years and currently work as a veterinary assistant. At Biscuits and Bath, I came in contact with a wide variety of dogs of different temperaments, ages, and energy levels. I have developed a deep love for dogs and treat each dog as if they were my own with the love, care, and respect they deserve. As a veterinary assistant I can recognize worrisome behaviors and can handle large and small pets alike. As I continue my career I plan to become a veterinarian and conduct pharmaceutical veterinary research. I look forward to hearing from you and I hope you and your pet(s) have a great day. If you choose me as your associate I would prefer to know the following: -Would you be okay with the use of an additional martingale collar? I don't want a dog to escape someway somehow from their collar or harness. A properly fitted martingale collar would prevent any escape and ensure their safety. -Is your dog shy or skittish in general? If so then I'd avoid high traffic or high construction areas. I don't want to stress out a dog that is already anxious from being away from their owner and with a new person. -The energy level of your dog Because depending on their energy I'd adjust the pace of the walk or the length of playtime. -Any allergies your dog has So that I know what treats are appropriate, if any. -How well trained your dog is Because I need to know what to expect for my safety. -What rules or training must your dog follow? Because I want to help you enforce any training while you are away. -Does your dog have any medical conditions or medications? Because I want to ensure their safety and provide an appropriate walk or sitting. -Can we conduct an initial meeting before any services? This way your pet has met me and will not be as stressed or confused upon the beginning of the service(s).

Yoveliss was wonderful. She took care of Sam who is often an anxious dog and definitely wary of new people. When we dropped Sam off, Yoveliss knew exactly how to calm him down. She kept us in the loop on what was going on with him. He seemed to be getting the royal treatment as he became affectionate with Yoveliss during his stay. Sam came back in great shape. I highly recommend Yoveliss. Your pup will be well taken care of.

A typical day

I like to take dogs on (reasonably) long walks. If I'm within range of a park I like to walk them over there and back so they can enjoy the smells on the way. Once at the park I run with the dogs or jog depending on their energy level. I always have a water bottle with me that I use to give the dogs water if I notice that they seem to be tired.
