Dec 2019 update: My family and I have been taking care of the cutest doggies for the last 3 years or so. We love having them over and seeing all their wonderful different personalities. So many have become family to us. We look forward to meeting some new doggies this holiday season and next year. —— Hi, my name is Vicente, and my family and I love our pup. Been taking care of her since she was 2 months, an adopted beautiful terrier mix from the spca. She has a lot of energy, so everyday, we take her on long walks/jogs to multiple dog parks throughout the whole San Francisco city. My family and I took a 6 week puppy prep course at the SPCA to help us understand what this doggy needed! It helped with her manners, training, and understanding dogs through emotion. We absolutely love our baby Carlita, and even though the listing is through me, we all take care of Carlita like she's a little, spoiled with love, queen. About our house: We live on the bottom part of my grandma's beautiful Victorian house. We made preparations, so that if we ever left Carlita, my pup, alone that she would not be able to destroy anything or be able to eat anything unwanted. We have a total of 4 rooms downstairs, along with a doggy door to the backyard. Carlita has full access to all of our rooms, but when left alone we leave her in our big living room that has the doggy door to our backyard. The backyard is big, so that there is plenty of space to play and do their business. About my family: Camelia Sanchez - My mother, and the head of our household. She is a big ball of love and joy, that can't help but have a high pitch love for all the doggies she meets. Works for the school district, so is free during the summer to watch dogs and go for walks. She works a few blocks away and likes to come by during lunch to check on the doggies. Joanna Toledo - The love of my life. She has been my partner for 8 years (now 12 years) and counting and was one of the reasons we have Carlita in our lives. Our schedules offset, as she works during the day, and I work during the night. We tried to make it so that Carlita was never left home alone. Victoria Sanchez (20) and Iris Sanchez (17) - pushed for a dog for years, and when we finally got Carlita, they played a major part in taking care of her. they love to feed, walk, and play with her. they love dogs so much and love to go to the dog park! I'm free all day most days, and I absolutely love taking care of my Carlita. We used dogvacay (now Rover) when we went on a family trip to Disneyland, and loved it! Now, we'd love to take care of your pups, and make em as happy as mine was when she stayed at a dogvacay.
