I will make sure your dog has everything s/he needs. I want your pup to be safe, happy, and comfortable. I want you to have peace of mind knowing that your beloved pet is well-taken care of. I am a seasoned dog caretaker. I foster for several rescue groups, which has given me great experience in working with abused dogs, including puppy mill dogs. I have a knack for working with dogs, which is great, because I love doing it! Your dog will not be left alone for more than 2-3 hours. I am a college professor with a very flexible schedule and I work primarily at home. Your dog will have the company of my own pups, who are playful and affectionate. My house is spacious with a roomy, fully-fenced backyard. My neighborhood is a leafy enclave in DC that is super-dog friendly, has many dog parks, and several nearby trails. I am an avid runner and am happy to take your pup for a jog! I am a very careful and attentive person. I am very attentive to the quality and safety of food, toys, grooming products etc., You can be sure that your dog will only get the best in my home. I am also very careful to follow owners' directions. I will make sure your dog sticks to the diet and routines s/he is used to. I am experienced in giving medicine and keeping a close eye on special needs. * I live in the Georgetown/Palisades area (rover lists it incorrectly). However, I am very close to AU/Tenleytown and most areas in NW, Bethesda etc. Thanks!

Our dog Millie had a great stay with Yoonmee! I would highly recommend her. Booking Millie's stay was seamless, and drop off and pickup were easy and convenient. Yoonmee was available at the times that were convenient for me, and her home was perfect for Millie. Yoonmee lives on a quiet street, so we didn't have to worry about Millie escaping and getting out into traffic, and the fenced back yard was a perfect spot for Millie to run around off leash. We got pictures of Millie every day and we were able to better enjoy our trip not having to worry about her wellbeing. Yoonmee will be our first call going forward!!
Yoonmee is responsible, loving and attentive. I felt immediately felt comfortable leaving Mac and will most definitely use her again.

Celia and I prefer non or low-shedding dogs who are reliably housetrained and do not have destructive behaviors. If your dog is crate trained, I have several crates in different sizes to accommodate him/her. No dogs isperfect, but if your dog is very destructive (excessive urination/chewing)/destructive behaviors not disclosed or lied about, you will ofcourse be expected to pay for the damage.
A typical day
We're a little bit city, and a little bit country. I have a roomy, dog-friendly house with a fully-fenced back yard. My neighborhood is one of those special places in DC that is part of the vibrant city, yet is a leafy, green, quiet retreat. The neighborhood is called the Palisades (rover.com considers it part of the larger AU/Tenleytown area, but the Palisades is really a unique and separate enclave). Your dog will join us in our family routines. At minimum we go for three 30 minute or longer walks a day; spend lots of time at the dog park; or we can mellow out in my yard under a canopy of cherry, magnolia, and dogwood trees. If your dog is telling me he wants something specific, I attentively to listen to him/her! If you need veterinary care or emergency care, I am a block from Palisades Vet Hospital, and minutes from Friendship Hospital, which is open 24 hours.
