HI there! Please call me Yoli and I use they/them pronouns. I am a big fan of all pets and generally prefer engaging with animals over humans :) I will love and care for your pet like I do my own (following your guidelines and preferences of course). I’ve lived with large dogs my whole life starting with a collie and then a German shepherd. I have also lived with friends with other types of dogs (basset hound, puggle, beagle, pug) and pet sit and walked friends dogs (Labrador, pit Bull, bulldog). I currently own a large (110lbs) goofball hound mix, a loveable German shepherd mix, and a spunky long haired cat. I have pet sit for friends plenty of times and my best friend’s dogs love me more than they love her (shhh don’t tell her!) I take my own dogs to dog parks all around the Philly area and we enjoy going to street festivals, hiking the Wissahickon, and swimming at Timber Creek. I am currently working from home with lots of flexibility as I work for myself. I can make almost any accommodations fit my schedule with enough notice except for a few dates when I’m out of town.

I’m so thankful to have had such a caring sitter for my cat, Josie. I don’t travel much and worry a lot about Josie when I’m gone, so having someone who was responsive, kind and good with my scaredy cat was amazing. Thank you for everything!!
Yolanda was absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond by giving my cat her “outdoor time” by letting her sit by our back door with it open. I felt very safe leaving Bob with them and will absolutely be using them again!

I have a fenced in back yard, and space in the front yard for tie-outs. I have a semi-finished basement with pet beds and toys where we play tug and fetch on inside weather days. My neighborhood has lots of trees and grass and is safe to walk dogs in. If I am staying in or visiting your home, I will accommodate whatever preferences you have for your space.

Let me know if your pets have any special needs such as medication or special feeding instructions. Also please let me know if your dog does not get along well with other dogs or cats, or if they are fearful/aggressive towards environmental things like squirrels, bikes, mail carriers, etc. Let me know if your dog is not house trained or has other behavioral needs. I am happy to accommodate special needs if I am able to.
A typical day
I love walking in my neighborhood near St. Joseph’s University. There are lots of trees, flowers, and friendly neighbors. I also frequent nearby dog parks including Haverford dog park, Roxoborough dog park, and West Mill Creek dog park. When we are feeling adventurous we also like to drive over to Timber Creek dog park in New Jersey. At home, we play fetch in the yard or in our semi-finished basement that is nearly 2,000 sq ft of empty space! We have plenty of toys to play fetch and tug with thanks to Bark Box!

I am mostly available in the afternoon times with occasional morning and night availability. My work schedule is flexible and I mostly work from home so with enough notice, I may be able to accommodate other needs.
