Pet care experience
I always want a furry best friend as a kid and now I have a place of my own, I finally brought home a little short legged corgi, Millie. My baby Millie is a very lovable and social dog. She is very active and loves to play with other dogs and human. Since I don’t have room for another dog at the moment ( I’m a grad student), Rover seems like a great idea to find play dates for my corgi and for me to get familiar with other breeds, and looking for potential breeds for dog#2. Although I’m not (yet) a very experienced dog handler, I’m genuinely interested in learning about different breeds. I’m hoping to start a pet friendly business in a few years and now it’s the time to get myself some experience. So your furry baby will be perfectly safe with me. I will be doing a lot of research on the breed and taking many photos during my visit. I will happily bring my dog Millie along if your dog wants a four legged friend to play with.

I have a large living room where I work. My corgi stays with me during the day in the living room when I work. She is crate trained when I’m in the office. My apartment also has a small fenced dog park and I love taking my dog there as long as it’s not too muddy.

A typical day
She is very food driven so we have a lot of feeding toys such as Kong and sniff mats. When the weather is nice, we play fetch at the park.

Availability
I am currently a grad student with an option to work from home (though I tend not to so my dog won’t develop severe separation anxiety). My schedule really varies depending my deadlines, so there will be times I won’t have much availabilities all week and times I am free all the time. At the moment, I am more flexible on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. I am less willing to do weekends since most people don’t work and there’s likely less demand.
