- I am new to Rover but not new to caring for dogs. - I love dogs and caring for them is my hobby, therefore, I only accept one new client at a time for provide the best environment for the pup. - I don't aim to get volumes of booking, just want to do what is the best for the dog I am caring for. - New boarding clients will need 1 day trial boarding to start. - Please fill out the new client form before boarding: https://forms.gle/aHFQPkx2Zhvf5wUJ8. This will help me get to know your dog better and provide better care for them. I have 5+ years of experience taking care of dogs. In the past 3 years, I volunteered to foster for local rescues and helped 20+ doggies find their forever homes. The majority of my boarding fee will go towards helping more rescue dogs find their forever homes. I am experienced at dog training, including desensitization and positive reinforcement. Because of my foster experience, I’ve met many different pawsonalities and I’m very experienced with both timid/shy dogs, energetic pups, and mellow gentle souls. Just let me know what is your dog like, and I’ll make sure they feel safe and comfortable in my home. As a pawrent myself, I totally understand entrusting your pet with someone else can be a bit nerve racking, especially at the beginning of our relationship. I’ll do everything I can to make it less stressful for you. For example, I will share your pet’s daily updates with you frequently, including lots of photos and videos. You will be able to see them anytime you’d like. You can also expect prompt communications from me. I understand dogs can be nervous in a new environment. I give them lots of time and space to desensitize and become comfortable with our home. I give them lots of treats to help them bound with me. I provide a consistent schedule for dogs in my home to help them build a healthy routine that will allow them to thrive. On top of that, I also make sure doggies have nutritious and delicious meal to ensure their health and happiness. During your pup’s stay, they will be with me and my husband the entire time in our home. We treat dogs as important family members and invite them in every space in our home. We live in a safe and quiet neighborhood with a large fully fenced yard. If you pup enjoys time outside, they will have the most spacious and safe backyard to explore. If you pup is a couch potato and likes to be indoors, we also have a spacious living room for them to play and a cozy fireplace for them to cuddle up with us. During a meet and greet, please bring: - Your pup's vaccination records. - I will also ask about your pup's last flee & tick preventative date. When dropping your pup off for boarding, please bring the following: - your lovely pup :P, - collar with name tag, harness if any, and leash, - favorite crate and dog bed, playpen if your dog likes to chew on furnitures, - dog food (bring extra) and treats, - medicine if any, - diapers if your pup is not potty trained, - dog food bowl(s), - a familiar blanket or t-shirt with your scent (this will help them feel more comfortable in a new environment), - your pups favorite toy (to make them feel more comfortable), I will also have plenty of toys at home for them, - other special items that bring joy to your dog. Please note: drop off and pick up window is usually anytime from 8am to 9pm. Any request outside of this window may be charged additional.
