Hi! I’m Yesi, I am an army wife stationed here in NC. I’ve had a variety of breeds ranging from small to large breeds since I was a kid. I’ve been a dog sitter for over about a decade now (mostly for friends, family, coworkers word of mouth etc). I recently discovered Rover and have been on here for a little over a year now. I decided to dedicate my time pursuing dog sitting on Rover because the app helps me network and meet new clients plus it’s more consistent. But mainly because Zeus gets temporary 4 legged companions, without us having to make the full commitment of adopting another dog. I LOVE animals and I grew up with a variety of pets like bunnies, a talking parrot, but majority of my pets have been dogs. I am currently a stay at home dog mom to a wonderful Great Pyrenees named Zeus. He’s the sweetest bear you will ever meet! he loves to meet new friends both humans and dogs. (However, I will no longer take German shepherds, Zeus got attacked by one and doesn’t seem to do well with them, he seems to remember the breed so for safety reasons I will not accept them). (I also do not take small breeds because in my dog sitting journey I have found that they all, including “trained” dogs, have marked territory in my home). These decisions help me succeed in my dog sitting business by maintaining a safe and clean environment in my home, especially when I am boarding multiple dogs from different homes). All the animals in my home are treated with love and equality whether they are mine are not. And it makes it difficult for me to give them that love and attention when I have one that is peeing everywhere and I have to keep him/her out of non-carpeted space. My goal is to give your fur-baby the love and care that they are used to and make their stay seamless and stress free. Zeus is a gentle giant, he loves to play but also respects and matches dogs energy if they don’t want to participate in play time. I like to play Spa/Zen playlist in the house when I have several rover guests over. They seem to relax and really it 😂 I prefer to do meet and greets in my home since that is the space your pet(s) will be co-existing with Zeus. It will help not just me but you, determine whether my place/ (& I, & Zeus) would be a good fit for your pet(s).
