Pet care experience
I am a fully remote grad student and my partner is also wfh with the occasional office visits. My partner and I own our house. The backyard and front yard is fully fenced so they can enjoy sun time outside. The backyard landscaping work finishes May 15th! I can take them on longer walks or take them to San Pablo Park. I’ve taken care of pets both in my house and in the client’s house. I am comfortable with cats and dogs and have a lot of experience boarding both. I am experienced with administering medication and love my special pups! Your dog will be the only pet in the house so you can expect premium care for your baby. I am pawsitive that your baby will be doted upon and loved.

I have a fenced backyard and front yard. We have a big basement with multiple rooms so if they prefer being isolated, they can hang out there. We also have a nice living room and prioritize coziness! They are absolutely allowed on the couch and bed.

If you have a routine/schedule, please let me know so I can incorporate some level of normalcy from their time away from you . Please let me know if your pup has separation anxiety so we can figure out a way to minimize their stress. Please let me know if you have any tricks to keep your pup occupied, happy, or if they have a preferred enrichment time activity. Please let me know their comfort level for being left alone, being cuddled, potty break times, etc.
A typical day
I usually wake up around 8 am and immediately let them out to the backyard and stretch their legs. After a cup of coffee, I’ll take the pup out for a walk around my neighborhood (15 min) and then bring them back and play with toys. I like to take them to San Pablo Park to get their zoomies out! If the weather is bad, I’ll hide some treats and have them sniff around for enrichment time. They will always be supervised when eating a treat. On average, I will walk them 4-5 times a day.

Availability
I am a full time grad student so I am flexible with schedules. I can go on walks and take them out more often. I am also able to be home more than most. I only care for one pet at a time unless the pets came as a pair. This is to ensure your baby gets the personalized attention and love they deserve!
