Pet care experience
I worked at Sunset Animal Clinic in the Portland area, helping the vet techs and taking care of cats and dogs. In the last twenty years, I've had horses, dogs and cats. I now work from home with the flexibility to check on your animals, take them on walks and send you lots of photos. I've trained dogs in basic obedience and agility. I currently have a dog and a sweet cat and I'll treat your animals the way I treat mine- with lots of love and care!

Jo is an amazing dogsitter who has watched my dog many times over the years. Jo has always taken excellent care of my dog — plentiful exercise, a safe and secure home and yard, and lots of love. Jo has always followed all instructions about feeding, medications, and the particular needs of a rescue dog with separation anxiety to a tee. I think my dog would move in with Jo if I’d let her. I would absolutely trust Jo with my dog anytime.

I live in the Washburne neighborhood in Springfield close to many parks and an easy walk to the river. We will play games, tug, basic training and get to play with my dog too!

I currently work from home so the schedules are flexible during the week. Check-ins can range from 15 minutes to an hour, depending on the pet's need and what you'd like.
