For cat boardings, I’d give lots of space for the first few hours or even days. If they are hiding, I’d leave food and treats near them and let them explore our place whenever they are comfortable. They can be anywhere in the apartment except on the bed. I’m allowing them in the bedroom if they are not interested in climbing onto the bed. (Same goes for the dogs.) Litter box is shared with my cat. We have a large litter box and I scoop often. You can just bring some food and maybe a bed and some toys. For dog boardings, outside of food, freely bring gentle cleansing wipes for their paws. 🐾
